AM #cardioandcore results are in. I guess I'll use these as a #transformationtuesday posts. This is me since last year and right after my injury six months ago. I was wondering if my morning core routine was having an impact aside from me sometimes running late to work 🤷🏽♀️😩 But I see that it has. My waistline has definitely gotten trimmer! The original objective was to get my core overall stronger so that I can improve my balance & stop falling every damn where. But this is a bittersweet moment for me y'all because I've always struggled with weight & body image issues. I was so insecure that in addition to wearing baggy clothes, I used to take diet Pills (remember Dexatrim?) It got so bad I went on anorexic BEFORE I hit my teens, I hid it as best as I could from family and friends!! But one day I looked in the mirror, big ol' pregnant belly & said, ENOUGH! Once i started to learn how my body was & accepted it, not to mention paying attention in bio class on college, I realized my body deserved better. It deserved more than calorie deficits and grueling workouts, it deserved LOVE! Nowadays I workout & eat better without starving or depriving myself! The changes are not drastic, but they are real and the type to not go away if I take a break! SLOW RESULTS ARE STILL RESULTS!!
