Hey, the last words of Sabo’s goodbye letter to Ace are the same thing Ace says to the Strawhats in Alabasta regarding Luffy. It looks like it’s the same font, too.
よろしく頼む/yoroshiku tanomu- ‘Please take care of him’ or ‘Please treat him well.’

Hi Jonny! I was wondering back in Enies Lobby, before Luffy asks God Ussop-san to burn the flag he says something along the lines "I'm well aware of Robin's enemies" depending on the versions. Is this what he actually says in japanese? Because that would apply that he "knows what the government can do and doesn't care" and I think it's beautiful. Thank you!
yeah! i love this moment so much, not even for being badass (though it is) but because it’s one of those lines that’s FULLY recontextualized once you’ve read luffy’s later backstory and are aware of everything that happened with sabo.
what he says is ロビンの敵はよくわかった/robin no teki wa yoku wakatta. yoku is ‘well’ and wakaru means ‘to understand,’ so it’s basically like, “i understand robin’s enemy/enemies perfectly well.”
In the anime, I've seen two different translations of Hancock's reaction to Dragon being Luffy's father in the anime. I've seen it translated as: "I couldn't care less even if you were the Devil's son," and as: "Knowing you're the son of a demon makes me..." Does this happen in the manga? If so, which translation is more accurate?
That second translation you gave up there is really implying some things about Hancock huh fdaskgf
Anyways, it does happen in the manga, but she never finishes her statement, she just trails off, with a little heart at the end lmao. So the statement is vague but it’s pretty easy to guess the meaning anyways. It’s much closer to the first meaning.
She says そなたが鬼の子であろうとわらわは…/sonata ga oni no ko de arou to, warawa wa… ♡
Which is basically like “You’re a demon’s child, (but) I… ♡”
