I want Helena Diaz to be haunted by Eddie and Shannon through Christophet to the point it makes her sick. I need her to be on the plane home with Chris the day they take him from LA and watch him trace the inside of his palm due to nerves and realise with a pjt in her stomach Eddie would do the same thing when flying before Afghanistan. I want her to call Chris down for dinner and watch him cover his stew in tomato sauce and swallow down the lump in her throat because Eddie would do that.

I want her to ask Christopher to help in the garden and he tells her that lilies are his favourite flower because they mean rebirth and beginnings, all while ditching the gloves and getting his hands dirty in the soil. Shannon would do the same thing in the summer even if her nails were clean. Her favourite were lilies. Chris can't stand the texture of silk, washes his face twice a day and his eye twitches slightly when he is tired.

and one day Christopher picks at his cuticles and tells her about animal facts the drive to church. He ducks his head down when he gets complimented by the ladies after mass and scratches at the spot below his eyebrow.

Shannon haunts her through her son, a reminder of her passing and everything that came before.

Eddie haunts her through living without her, without letting her know whats happening. He haunts her through Chris and the way Chris is shaped to Evan Buckley like he's never known a life without him.

And they will spend the rest of their time trying to not repeat the same mistakes that their own parents made.

I hate when in fan fics where either it's mpreg (is it mpreg if one of them is trans?) Or just other variations of having a kid when the 118 or their other family say.

'You'll be great parents.' Or 'congratulations becoming parents'

like nooo Christopher is already Eddie's kid anyway but he's also Buck's.

They are already parent!

Like you can congratulate parents on another kid I'm not saying that I dislike that!

It's just when you imply that a stepparent and bio parent having another kid is there first kid invalidates the relationship between the parents and that kid.

Like am I totally reading to much into this? Totally.

i think it fits very well that instead of yelling at the diaz parents like everyone wanted, eddie confidently packed chris’ things and told his mom he’s living with eddie again, as he should. it parallels how the diaz parents took chris from eddie (and im sure eddie prides himself in making helena feel blindsided just like eddie did at the end of s7) also eddie doesn’t need to yell at helena, he knows his role in chris’ life and is not afraid to show it, more so now knowing that chris wants him just as much as eddie wants chris. the diaz boys are together and that’s all the confidence eddie needs to take on his mother.

I just scrolled past a post about 911 Season8B and a terrifying thought. What if the person that gets kidnapped isn’t Buck or Maddie but Jee?

Somebody pissed at Maddie kidnaps her child. Or maybe Jee is a witness. Or who knows…but she gets kidnapped.

Buck and Maddie would go on a fucking warpath - like Chimney would too because that’s his daughter - but the dual power of a the Buck and Maddie sibling combo and their sheer anger would scare the shit out of everyone.

Or maybe the kidnapping victim is Christopher. And Eddie goes catatonic and can’t help. And it’s up to Buck to rescue him. None of those kidnappers would be left alive.

And then we get Buddie canon.
