Wing: There's somebody I want you to meet Drift: I know enough people
Inspired by @tulliolamonster ‘s recent work (Sorry for sudden tag but you inspired me to do this, now you have to face consequences XD)
Using the Pyrrhic Dance piece by Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema as ref. The characters placement is pretty much intentional, so I’d love to hear your opinions/own interpretations on this.
P.S: the context is Drift solo comic from IDW1. All background characters are from there.
Check this out!! That small circle of light traveling over my house is the International Space Station!! It's a spaceship, and we're the aliens flying it!! How cool is that? It flies over my house a lot. My roommate has a ham radio, and he has spoken with the astronauts aboard the ISS!! I find this to be very exciting and incredible to watch!! 😁😍 I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did!!!

I wish we knew more about the Circle of Light. Like on this page you see plenty of Knights. Especially the Knight besides Wing, who was in the comic quite frequently if I remember (as well as Axe, who I wish we got to know better, he seems close to Dai Atlas, what’s their story?)
I would not be opposed to a comic just about the Circle, before and after Drifts arrival.
Like I’d love to know their day-to-day structure, how they came to be, how they decide who will be a Knight, more info on the great swords (because they are such a cool concept!).
Like I’ve read some Drift/Wing fanfics and they explain the swords and the Knights beautifully, I wish the comics went into more detail.
I’d love to know all of their pasts, especially Wings. Like who was Wing before the war, what job did he have, what part of Cybertron did he live in, how did he know Dai Atlas and become a Knight?
What were his thoughts, his actual internal monologue, when he saw Drift, when he was training Drift, when he became closer with Drift? We know Drifts thoughts and feelings from his inner thoughts, but I’d love to know Wings thoughts of their interactions.
Also it would give us more interactions between Drift and Wing (like srs who wouldn’t want that?) because 4 issues was not nearly enough.
We only saw the basics, and I want to see them get closer, y’know? Drift slowly learning to trust Wing, and Wing gradually being able to see the true Drift underneath his Deadlock persona.
I want to see how their relationship changed, how close they got, for Drift to be so devastated about Wing getting killed. For him to nearly die himself in a rage by Braid when trying to avenge Wing when he fell.
Just had another thought, I’d absolutely love to see a comic series on the premise of ‘what if Drift stayed with the Circle?’ because that would also let us see his relationships with the other Knights, and to perhaps see Dai Atlas slowly getting to like him. Would prefer to see a version of Wing still being alive, but the aftermath of his death would also be a great plot to see.
Like yes there are fanfics (and they are absolutely amazing don’t get me wrong), but reading and seeing it in comic form would be wonderful.
DESCRIPTION: Nomiani asks, "Weird machines?" The other Mayli replies, "Yeah, their city has this…kinda moving circle that creates light, even at night! Never seen it myself, but isn't that wild? What would they even need that for?" They gesticulate while talking, but their description seems to be akin to a waterwheel.

How does ratchet feel about wing? Not as in he's jealous but as in, he did sort of imprison and brainwash drift.
I mean it was brainwashing for his own good i guess but it's also distinctly culty
There's a lot about Drift's stories of the Circle of Light that makes Ratchet's eyebrows approach his hairline, but he's made his peace with that part of Drift's life. Yes, Wing detained Drift and slapped him around a little (something Ratchet himself wanted to do in the early days of the Lost Light, if he's honest), and then there was the proselytizing and raisin propaganda. But, he also midwifed a difficult rebirth that was already underway in Drift's psyche. And beyond the brainwashing, there was the actual washing, for which Wing does not get enough credit. Drift entered New Crystal City a smelly boi and left absolutely sparkling.

Is he carrying the same type of Great Sword than the Knight of the Circle of Light, so than Drift and Wing ???? I have the feeling it happened in the comic but i cant remember ????? GUYS HELP ME WHY NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT IT MORE ???? Is he a Spectralist ? Does this add to the beef between him and Drift ???
Also i had a second interrogation. Am i the only one that thought Drift was a Cityspeaker when he came back from his exil because of his facial markings ???
Later we learn that it is Spectralism markings. Why is it so similar to Cityspeakers/Camiens markings ? Is the ability to see auras somehow similar to speaking with a Titan ?? Does the Knights-Spectralist came somehow from Caminus ? Is Dai Atlas Camien ??
