It's at the same time awesome and sad that The Locked Tomb series is the only piece of media that I can think of where someone could make a perfect Claymore AU. There is enough women characters for different generations, a cool rebellious top 10, with characters that fit abyssal ones and the Organization.
You can have John, Augustine, Mercymorn and Cytherea as the abyssal ones (G1deon as John's general)
Alecto was the strongest number 1 ever, with Pyrrha and Anastasia as 2 and 3. Pyrrha defected and lives in hiding, helping Claymores whenever she feels like.
Ianthe and Coronabeth are an experiment, like Alicia and Beth were in the manga.
Abigail and We Suffer could be the ones starting the rebellion against the Organization.
Camilla starts rebelling after she received Dulcinea's black card. She carries 2 swords and dual wields them.
Babs and Ortus are spies in the Organization.
Gideon is really powerful, but because no one can sense her yoki they give her a high number, and she is also bad at teamwork lol. What makes her even weirder to others are her golden eyes, they think she's always at 20% but still can't sense her full power. In this AU the claymore mutation doesn't change the person's natural eye or hair color (because that's lame).
Harrow also has a lot of yoki, great control, and leadership skills. She is the number 9, but she lacks in sword fighting skills. She is from the same generation as Gideon, they were cellmates and the only 2 that passed their final test.
Marta and Judith would be constantly be switching ranks because, while they have different skill sets, their overall strength is the same. Judith is from a younger generation than Marta, and she started "admiring" her after they were selected for the same mission.
Talking about same mission. Jeannemary is a low number even though she is young and inexperienced. She is selected for a hunt with Gideon on her team. Gideon doesn't obey the team leader so Jeannemary challenges her to a duel, wrongly assuming that she is weak. Gideon beats her up, but promises to keep it a secret. That's how they become friends.
I can think of more stuff but I'll stop here, because I guess, beside me, only 1 mutual would enjoy this.
