@moriavis and myself (@coldflasher) have been at work behind the scenes deciding on this year's event schedule, and we are pleased to announce our first event of the year:
Coldflash Valentine's Day Weekend 2026!
This event will be held from the 14th to the 15th of February.
The theme is romance, whatever that means to you. We're keeping this one nice and flexible, so there are no prompts or word limits—and you can feel free to get creative.
As always, all fanworks are welcome, not just fanfics. Playlists, moodboards, edits, art, all are encouraged.
We'll be sharing some more details on our other upcoming events soon, so watch this space!
Feel free to drop us an ask if you have any questions.
Coldflash Week Fall 2019: Sugar Daddy / Identity Reveal / Different 1st Meeting
I have a lot of edits and fics for this ship as well as destiel, sterek, etc. My masterposts can be found here. If you’re on a desktop site then you can just jump on over to my page to view the rest of my coldflash edits.
I’ve had this idea for about a year or so and have officially decided that I will never get around to writing it, so consider this a writing prompt. If you feel inspired to carry the story on then be my guest but please give credit!
Summary: The name Snart was well-known in the criminal underworld: everyone who was anyone knew the man behind the name as an infamous thief who liked to push the buttons of even the most feared criminals and somehow managed to dodge the police at every turn. But in private, Len preferred the name Miller. Leonard Snart was a cold-hearted crook who would kill anyone who got in his way. But Leonard Miller was the suave businessman who had fallen in love with Barry Allen.
In Len’s defence, he hadn’t known that Barry was a newly hired CSI, nor that his foster father was the very same Detective that had been hunting Len for the past ten years, when he took Barry home that first night. But maybe, just maybe, Barry was worth the risk.
AKA, just another pre-canon AU where Len and Barry were dating before the particle accelerator explosion.
“Here,” Len said, taking a credit card out of his wallet and handing it to Barry. “Buy yourself something pretty,” he laughed, and Barry frowned at him.
“I don’t need a sugar daddy, Len,” he muttered, sounding offended, and Len sighed. Maybe he shouldn’t have joked about such a sensitive issue.
“I know that. But you just said yourself that you’re in debt. And I have more money than I know what to do with,” Len elaborated, sure that Barry couldn’t know just how true that statement was. “If I’m not spending it on myself, then is it really so bad if I spend a little on my boyfriend?” He drawled and pushed the card into Barry’s hands. Barry frowned down at it for a second, seeming conflicted, then his brow furrowed even deeper as he looked up at Len.
“This says Leonard Snart,” Barry stated, though it sounded more like a question. For a moment, Len didn’t understand what the issue was. But then he realised his mistake. Barry knew him as Leonard Miller.
“Snart… is my real name,” Len carefully admitted, trying his best not to close his face off, and Barry looked very sad all of a sudden.
“You gave me a fake name? Barry asked slowly, and Len resisted the urge to bang his head against the wall: how could he have been so stupid? “Why?” He asked. Before Len could give an answer, Barry was talking again. Rambling uncomfortably and taking a step back. “People don’t just give out fake names for no reason. You don’t just tell your boyfriend a false name unless you’re hiding something.
“Oh, God. Oh God, you’re married, aren’t you?” Barry continued, getting a little frantic. “I knew this was too good to be true. I’m the other woman, aren’t I? Oh God, I can’t believe-”
“Barry,” Len cut him off as he saw the younger man working himself up. “Number one, I’m not married. Nor have I ever been,” he insisted. Barry was looking at him with those big sad puppy eyes of his, and it made Len’s heart twinge. How had he fallen so hard for this man? “And two, you’re not a woman,” he teased.
“It’s a figure of speech, Len!” Barry all but shouted. But then his fretting turned into something calmer, something more assessing, something that maybe worried Len. “Then, why?” Barry asked. “Because, if you’re not married, then the only other reason I can think of is,” that he’s a criminal. Len didn’t let Barry say the words aloud. He didn’t want to have to lie and deny them; he knew they weren’t ready for that particular conversation just yet. So, instead, Len admitted something that he hadn’t actually talked about to anyone other than Lisa in over 20 years.
“I didn’t have a happy childhood,” Len said. He paused, his eyes trained on Barry’s face as he watched the young CSI piece together Len’s meaning. “My mum died when I was young and my Dad… he wasn’t exactly the loving type.” Len watched as Barry’s eyes flicked down to the scar on Len’s chest, currently covered by both tattoo and clothes. “When he finally went to jail, I started going by Miller. It’s my mother’s maiden name. I just never got around to legally changing it.”

“We didn’t even know you were interested in anyone, Barry.” Yeah, Len thought, there’s a reason for that. He was about to give a generic answer when an idea came to him and he had to resist the urge to smirk, knowing it would look odd on Barry’s lips.
“Oh, yeah, you’d love him,” Len said, talking himself up. “He’s smart, funny, rich, sexy… body like a God.”
Soulmate AU where you can only see in black and white until you touch your soulmate.
Part 1 -- Part 2 -- Part 3 -- Part 4 -- Part 5 -- Part 6
Part 5B (KillerWave version)
Part 5C (KillerStorm version)
Leonard Snart didn’t need anyone except Lisa and Mick. He definitely didn’t need a soulmate, especially a law enforcing goodie-two-shoes that would want him to change, to stop, to be weak. He had a job to do, and it’d be a cold day in hell before he let anyone get in his way.
