Platonic Law x Fem Random Kid Pirate Reader: The Cool Aunt

⚠️ WARNING: Swearing ⚠️

You and the other Kid pirates had docked at this little island to get supplies.  Since you were the only one good with money, they sent you to buy stuff.  The shops were so cute, like that out of a fantasy novel.  Little cozy stone buildings with flower boxes on the windows.  You loved it so much.  You were so distracted by your surroundings that you didn’t notice you ran into someone.  You looked up and it was Trafalgar Law.  He was your captain’s enemy, you both glared until you thought of something.

“Wait Corazon adopted you right,” you asked chipperly.

He nodded, “he’s like a father to me?  What are you getting at?”

You smiled like the Cheshire Cat, “I’m your aunt.  Wait a second, I’ll be right back!”

Dumbfounded, Law waited for you.  He knew Kid pirates, especially you were a little crazy but this was a whole new level.  When you came back, you were carrying a stack of Sora comics.  All in mint condition, all special editions.  You handed them to him, “this is to make up for the holidays I missed.  Merry Easter Christmas Halloween!!  Bye!!”  And you walked away leaving him dumbfounded again.

Later that day…

Law sat in his office on the Polar Tang reading his new comics.  “Dammit!!!  She’s the cool aunt,” he exclaimed loudly, scaring his own crew.  He was extremely annoyed.  You were loud, an idiot in battle and just weird.  You were his enemy.  But somehow, you knew he was a Sora fan and that he’d like this gift.  Heck, you didn’t buy something stupid or lame like socks like most aunts would.  You were such a cool aunt.

Meanwhile…

You were laying on the deck of the Victoria Punk watching the sky as the sun was setting.  Suddenly, you sat up really fast.  “What’s wrong,” Killer asked, rushing over to you.

“I think someone complimented me,” you said looking around.

“Yeah right,” Kid yelled, not even turning around.

“Shut up Kid,” you yelled back, throwing your sunglasses at him.

Killer looked at you, “any ideas of who it could be?”

“Maybe my nephew….”

“YOU'RE AN AUNT!?!?”

“The cool one I guess.”

Avatar What if!

GUYS! I just had a realization and I am now so Angry we had Korra instead of this…

What if instead of the Southern Water Tribe, the next Avatar after Aang was born in the Swamp! The Swamp is a VERY spiritual area right between the Northern and Southern Tribes so if they still want to do the Water Tribe Civil War plot this puts the Avatar in an interesting position where they are kin to both Water Tribes but not inherently connected to either.

Imagine the next avatar having grown up with Toph as their mentor since Toph decided to say "Fuck civilization I am going to go live in the woods and become one with the whole Planet! The Moment Toph senses her Twinkle-Toes she's sure as hell not going to wait till they come of age, she's gonna take her best friend on adventures again and be the cool chaotic aunt and mentor this Avatar needs. Seeing as these are the Foggy Swamp People I don't think they would mind their child hanging out with the crazy blind lady and going on adventures.

By the time they are Korra's age I could see them actually having a reason for having mastered Water and Earth instead of being a BS toddler prodigy, maybe even at least have a very strong connection with Spirit Energy, and could also know Plant Bending, Metal Bending, and Seismic Sense. The next element they would need to learn is Fire, so imagine Toph and the new Avatar just busting into Zuko's house and yelling "LIFE CHANGING FIELD TRIP!"

So to express my gratitude, I would like to tell you a little bit more about my concept of Ayano fan child, Mitsumi.

Mitsumi is the daughter of 'Musuko' and Ayano.

She has black hair, same horn figures like Ayano or ryoba. She mostly inherited her blue eyes and natural tan skin from Musuko side.

Unlike Musuko, she's spoiled but not rotten at least. Because in my AU, Ayano disciplines her if she steps out of line.

I don't know anything about the Aishi curse or if I'll add it in my fic🤔, but in my fic she's being very rebellious about it. *(She throwing hands boi)*

Her percentage of the aishi condition in my fic is 40%

Her personality is similar to Dozuki, and Jokichi. Because from the Jokichi side, she actually wants to be a normal girl rather than being defined by her condition.

She likes pastel blue colors.

She likes cinnamorall from hello kitty.

To be I've also wondered what is your fan children between Ayano and Musuko? (If you plan to have some ofc) For me it's just Mitsumi.

Also hypothetically speaking, in your AU. Mitsumi would love mew mew, because mew mew is so cute🥰

She would love the Mariposa's because literally her favorite animal is butterflies itself.

Oh way you’re welcome. I really love your work also her loving cinnamorall is nice to me because I love Sanrio as well as my little sister also loves cinnamorall too is so sweet to me, and I’m not surprised that Mitsumi loves mew mew because no one can ever hate on mew mew.

If Emily is in your Au she will forever hate Mitsumi’s bio dad, but I know for a fact she will be the cool aunt that loves spoiling her niece, Mitsumi with whatever she wants. I can imagine Emily taking Mitsumi to the butterfly , sanctuary garden (one of Emily’s hobbies)to see the butterfly and teach her about them. If you know Emily you will she is making Mitsumi a beautiful butterfly inspired outfit. (Emily Will always be the cool aunt to all of Ayano’s kids and will definitely be the godmother to all of them)

For Ayano x Musuko fan kids I didn’t think I made any fan kids for them, but I remembered I made some sketch of them in an old notebook in middle school. I just don’t know where it is.

I’ve read your story and I really enjoyed. I especially loved the part of the story of Mitsumi when she was 5 years old I find it really cute. (I’m not gonna say the whole story just in case everyone else what’s to read it themselves🤫😉)

Maybe it’s because I’m the “cool younger aunt” who is still a little childish at heart, but taking care of my niece makes me feel like I’m going to be a great mom someday. I’ve always been naturally maternal and just seem to know exactly what the kiddos need. It’s a nice feeling to realize i might be cut out for this.
