This burger is a tasty take on the classic BLT sandwich. It has crispy cornbread waffles, juicy beef patties, crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and a tasty garlic aioli sauce.
Ingredients: 1 pound ground beef. 4 cornbread waffles store-bought or homemade. 8 slices of bacon. 4 lettuce leaves. 2 tomatoes, sliced. 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced. 1/2 cup mayonnaise. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Salt and pepper to taste. Cooking oil for waffle iron.
Instructions: Warm up your waffle iron and use a little cooking oil to coat it. Place the ground beef, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Make 4 patties for burgers. In a pan, cook the bacon until it's nice and brown. Take it off and let it dry on paper towels. Take a small bowl and mix mayonnaise, minced garlic, and lemon juice together. Set this bowl aside while you cook the bacon. Add pepper and salt to taste. Put away. Once the waffle iron is hot, cook the burger patties until they're done the way you like them usually 3 to 5 minutes for medium-rare. In a toaster or on a griddle, toast the cornbread waffles until they are just beginning to brown and become crisp. Spread a lot of garlic aioli on one side of each waffle before putting the burgers together. Put a lettuce leaf on one of the waffles that has aioli on it. Put a cooked burger patty on top of the lettuce. Then add two slices of bacon, tomato slices, and red onion slices. Place the rest of the waffles on top to make burgers that look like sandwiches, with the aioli side facing down. Make sure your Cornbread Waffle BLT Burgers with Garlic Aioli are hot before you serve them.
