The thing about your relationship with Juhoon was that it wasn’t a secret. However, it also wasn’t very public either.
You didn’t mind it, if anything you actually liked it— and so did he.
Neither of you kept it hidden either, you guys just weren’t the ones to bring it up unless someone were to ask.
The majority of those who you guys knew had known about the relationship, all of them supported it and were happy for you, even the label Juhoon and the group was under.
Even when the group had finally debuted, no one knew about you and the fact that you were dating a member of this beloved group.
But that had all changed.
The group was filming a video that'd be later posted on their youtube. In between one of the cuts where they took a break from filming. Martin, Juhoon, and Seonghyeon, decided to take a picture in the meantime.
But what they didn't realize is how that one picture was going to spark something big.
“here , does this one look good enough to post?” Martin asks, facing the screen towards the two beside him.
Seonghyeon grabs Martin's hand, pulling it a bit closer, “hm, yeah looks good.”
Juhoon on the other hand, gives it a small glance, “yeah that's good.”
If only he looked a little closer.
They then went back to filming, the picture still not being posted but planned to be after filming. Once they finished up, Juhoon immediately facetimed you.
It took a couple of rings till you popped up on the screen. “Hi hoon.” you say with a smile, face mostly covered with your blanket.
“Hi pretty, what are you up to?”
You fell into conversation, sometimes even getting interrupted by the others.
Juhoon would side eye them, playfully pushing them away from the phone, “no, go away she's my girlfriend.”
Keonho then steals the phone from his hands, quickly speeding away from the other boy. Immediately juhoon follows behind, arms reaching out to grab onto keonho.
The others are watching this, laughing at the two.
It takes about two to three minutes for Juhoon to catch him. Keonho lays on the floor in defeat. Grabbing the phone from your hand, Keonho calls out to you.
“Yn! You see this? How this bully treats me? “
You laugh, full smile on the screen. “Sorry keo!”
Juhoon faces the screen back to himself, “don’t say sorry to him, he doesn’t deserve it after making me run.”
“but you caught him, didn’t you?”
You guys talk for some more, up until Martin calls him over to tell him they’re going back to filming for a bit.
He waved his hand, motioning that he’d be there soon. Turning his face back to you, “ I guess I have to head out, I’ll see you later yeah?”
“Okay, well I’ll see you soon love, I love you.”
And with that the call ended.
Knowing that it’ll be a little longer till he’d come over, you decided to spend some time scrolling on TikTok.
Going on TikTok now was somewhat exciting for you. Being able to see all different types of edits of your boyfriend was like a win, besides thousands of people also wanting him.
It didn’t bother you much if you were being honest though. You knew he was yours and you were his— no matter what.
However, as you began to scroll, the edits started to disappear. Instead, videos of their recent posts on Weverse were getting examined by the fans.
You weren’t very surprised, but the more you looked into it, you realized the reason for this.
The caption of the video being, ‘is this juhoons gf???’ .
You couldn’t help but feel a bit of a panic, knowing that he’s an idol and needs to keep a certain image up.
Although his label and those who are close with him know about the two of you, you guys never really announced it.
quickly, you open up messages. Going straight to his contact.
When Juhoon arrived at your house, you guys talked and ate. He explained his plan on telling the fans, wanting to make sure you’d be okay with it.
which you agreed, a bit nervously though. Knowing how fans can get over their idols.
But Juhoon reassured you, “ even if they were to dislike it, it doesn’t matter. It’s between us and only us.”
Those words brought you a small bit of comfort, still a bit nervous but you knew if anything were to happen, he’d be there.
The boys went to an interview, the team had told them it’s one where they were going to be answering the fans' questions.
Juhoon already knew what one of the questions was going to be, they all did.
And he knew exactly how he was going to respond.
It didn’t take very long for it to come up either, after the third question it got brought up.
Keonho holds the paper in his hand, reading it out loud. “Does Juhoon have a girlfriend? If so, what's her name?”
The others share a look at each other, then give a glance to Juhoon who thinks for a second.
“Ah, yes I do. I don’t know if she wants her name out there yet so I’m going to keep that secret, for now.” He explained, a small soft smile showed while he did.
A sudden sound of “aww” rang through the room.
Martin leans over to Juhoon, giving his shoulders a shake. “I’m telling you guys, this boy is obsessed with her.”
“Remember when he chased me for taking the phone?"
“Or when he made us watch her favorite movie because she was over for movie night!”
“You know, for a good while we didn’t know either. We only found out cause we heard him on call with her.” James brought up.
A couple more of those memories got brought up along with a bit of a backstory for them as well.
Juhoon sat back with a red face and a smile.
You both knew that with sharing your relationship with the fans that things could get a bit tricky. Some would support while others not so much— but that didn’t matter to you two.
As long as you had each other, that’s all that mattered.
