This is a tale about having a bad day =/= you will have a bad workout. — Today I felt drained. Absolutely drained. No energy. Little life. Not even caffeine helped. I thought about skipping my workout, but I went anyways. And it was one of my best workouts ever. — It started off with bench press, two sets for 10 reps at 82.5% of my 1RM (185lbs). Last week I struggled to hit 8 reps. Today I hit it for a personal best 10 reps. It was a goddamn grind, but I hit it. — Rest of the workout also went that way. Put up great numbers and all while feeling exhausted. Bodies are weird, man. — But in the fall I could barely do 185 for 5 reps.
