Summary: Training to hone her skill, Lae'zel of crèche K'liir brandishes her blade. Focused on her training, Lae'zel does not notice the observer in the shadows, waiting for her chance to put Lae'zel in her place, besting her through combat.

So by happenstance (or maybe because I'm overzealous, lol) I didn't only create a VP for the 2nd volume of @coloursofthegate, I also wrote a story about little Yae who, having observed his both parents being genderfluid, wants to explore his own identity. Hopefully I succeeded in lovingly flipping queer kids experience.

Pre-orders for the Colours of the Gate charity zine (a zine celebrating the queer characters of BG3) are now open! Here's a snippet of my contribution – a fic of my favorite girls Shadowheart & Nocturne!!

As a charity zine, you can get the zine by donating at least $5 to The Trevor Project, Transgender Law Center, or Mermaids and sending a copy of your receipt on the zine order form as proof.

I'm participating in my first zine! 🖤

I'll be contributing to Volume #2 of @coloursofthegate, a pride-themed digital fanzine that celebrates queer identity in Baldur's Gate 3 and raises money for nonprofits supporting LGBTQIA+ communities. We'll have original fics, art, virtual photography, and more.

Check out Issue #1 here <3 I wasn't involved in that one, but I got a copy and loved what I saw.

I'm telling a different story than my usual fics (I won't be writing about my beloved vampire this time!) but I'm really excited about it. Follow the zine for updates~
