A killer whale girl for Mer-may 2020!
It’s October again! Time to draw and post a ton of Monster Girls!!
Just some doodles of some demons and monsters.
An unnamed creature I was playing with in 2017-18. They are an omnivorous horse-like animal, with two nostrils (the lower one is for inhaling, the higher one is for exhaling). They are covered with very short, dense fur, a thick-bristled mane, and a long, whiplike tail. They are often striped to help break up their outline (although they have been bred to have other colors). They have fairly good eyesight, but rely on their sense of smell and hearing over their eyesight. They have long legs, barrel chests, and a long neck. They are strong, but are more well known for their speed. There are thicker breeds that can carry lighter riders, but are often used to pull specially designed carriages. They have sharp hooves, with two smaller toes on either side of the main toe. They also have longer sharp canines, and a mix of sharp, shearing and grinding teeth.
They give birth to live young and feed them milk. They are known for their strong personalities, but they can and have been domesticated.
An amalgamation of dream monsters and aliens and a doodles monster.
The first picture is of an alien race that appeared in a dream. It can levitate off the ground but also can stand on its four thicker tentacles. They have four more longer, whip-like sharp tentacles. They are able to manipulate and grab things with these. They are mainly purple, with bright blue orbs sticking out of their body (the front three are for sight), and four black mandibles. Their saliva is acidic and corrosive to human flesh. They are capable of speech and spell phonetically. They insist on calling humans “goats,” “affectionately.”
The next one is just a doodled sea monster from 2017.
The next beast was from a dream that involved small, bipedal cats dealing with a giant worm monster. This giant worm is able to hypnotize its prey (as it is too slow to catch any) if you look into its eyes. It has sideways jaws/mandibles that are filled with rows and rows of grinding teeth. It is the top predator in its universe.
The last beast was from another vivid dream. A magic user (pictured in the corner-she has glowy eyes, lightly pointed ears, and a cool head dress to cover her smaller than usual horns), finds a key (and later the said headdress) that unlocks her latent powers. She puts the key up to her headdress and it merges her body into that of the key’s beast. Her face sinks Into and merges with its face, her limbs separate and meld with the beasts (her arms and legs leave outline-like markings on the outside of the beast), her horn-like headdress melts down her body and becomes the main body of the beast. The key stretches out and becomes its long tail. The monster is about 10-12 feet tall. It looks painful, but she really can’t feel much of it, she feels like she jumped into a large pool of water. (I really like this one’s design and would love to revisit it someday to make it more clear).
The titanic and monstrous parents of the twin demons from my last post. They were quickly sketched out a couple of days ago. I was inspired to try and redraw them from the itty bitty thumb nail sketch I had had with my original drawings.
They were powerful shapeshifters and magic users, but became so intoxicated by power and the dark arts, that it overwhelmed them and turned them into the masses of rotting flesh they are now.
They are giant man (and demon) eating monsters, whose cultists believe will bring about the end of the current world and begin a new one with their chosen few (Ha!). They still can “use” magic, but no longer in defined spell forms or curses, it just oozes out of them constantly and warps the area around them. The one on the left is their mother. Her face is mostly skeletal, with three red eyes, slobbering tongue and sharp teeth. She has quill feathers, papery/wrinkly skin and veins scattered across her remaining flesh. Her stomach has opened up to be another gaping maw lined with teeth. Her arms can be tipped with two-claws, or rip open to reveal tentacles underneath. She has two strong legs and an extreamly long and skeletal tail, tipped with a poison filled spines.
Their father, on the left, has a long pointed face, covered in holes/pustules/veins/scars, a flexible lower jaw, lines with needle sharp/uneven teeth, and three eyeballs crammed into one eye-socket. He has an long, thick neck (with slats along the side that ooze poisonous substances), sharp spines that can shoot out to spear foes. His spines and body are rather flat and warped, his few spines have popped open and poke out, while his arms have shrunken while his two remaining fingers have elongated and his thumb has turned to a twisted claw. His legs are still very strong and muscular (despite them being impaled by dozens of arrows and forgotten swords) and he is surprisingly quick for his size and the apparent lack of organs. His once long tail had been lopped off and now is constantly leaking a flammable substance that makes it look like he has living flame as a tail. They are still alive, but have been subdued and locked away after the demons and humans allied themselves together.
This week are some monster designs and doodles done through 2012-2018.
The first picture is from 2013, a doodled mermaid and an early picture of Erifa.
The second and third picture are from 2015, they are doodles of a monster called a “wardrome” that I originally doodled in jr high; these were attempts to try and update the idea of a gator/horse/rhino mix.
The fourth picture is from 2016. I was playing around with the idea of a flying serpent monster/predator with two sets of eyes. I found this apex predator with retractable fangs.
The fifth picture is from 2012, and was just a doodled feline that I mixed with an insect.
The sixth picture is from 2015 and is another “update” doodle from something I drew in jr high. He is the “Bachelor,” a monster who dwells along dark wooded pathways to steal children and wears their skins after liquefying their insides and slurping them all up. Even if you escape, he can smell you from miles away and will track you down.
The seventh picture is a slime monster from 2016.
The eighth picture picture is from 2016 and is just an elf doodle and a bone monster doodle.
The ninth and tenth pictures are doodles from 2018 of just random monsters.
Now that the prints have arrived I am loving master badger just as much as my other NEW Canvasbutterfly Creature Doodles.
