Curious, Lazlo & Crystal, Day 20, Part 1

I thought Crystal was going to stay home today (she has more vacation days) but she rolled a want to go to work, so Lazlo's helping her out with her fun bar before she goes.

That's a very messy looking breakfast!

With Crystal wanting to teach Juno to walk, I figured I'd have Lazlo start with talking.

Crystal: How was school, Zig?

Ziggy: Good. But you saw me there lots of times!

Crystal: I know, but I don't know what went on in your class, because I wasn't in it.

Lazlo: What are you up to, pickle? I think it's bath time.

Lazlo: ... and then you and Ziggy are going to play nicely because Mummy and Daddy are having a date night!

Crystal looks mad here. I'm not sure what about.

Curious Family:

Lazlo looks with an arching heart at his growing family. One the one side he’s a family man through and through, on the other side having a third child would mean turning his “plants room” into an other bedroom. He’s glad that Crystal is a good junk younger than him, so they still got time to contemplate...

The Curious Family II: Lazlo, Crystal (née Vu), and Zoe (Lazlo and Crystal’s youngest child, Knowledge aspiration)

Up the hill, at the newish house across the street from the Curious Bunker, the lack of nannies in Strangetown has Lazlo and his wife Crystal juggling work hours to take care of little Darwin. Everybody prefers it when Lazlo stays home; but Crystal’s got more family leave time, because - like most of the good jobs in Strangetown - Lazlo’s R&D department and Crystal’s hospital are under direct military authority, and General Buzz is impervious to arguments that fathers need family leave, too. Crystal loves Darwin and is interested in his education and development; but she can't ride herd on him all day on the days she's home and Lazlo's working. She might be able to do more with him if Lazlo ever cleaned up like he promises to! Mary Gavigan's coming over later and Crystal'd die of embarrassment if her best friend saw the place in this state.
