also while I'm on silm ship tangents the funniest thing about cúarthol is that they're both butch hicks but beleg is an elf and túrin grew up around elves so it's a truly relative experience. turin spends his several years around men and starts wearing his hair around his shoulders instead of his mid-back with that stupid half topknot and beleg just didnt think it was possible to get more butch. needless to say he's excited at the prospect

I don't really have like one ultimate ship for Beleg, I could ship him with anyone LOL but I mostly like Beleg/Androg and Beleg/Mablung

Turin - well, Orodreth, naturally. I'm a convert. Apart from that I don't really have any shipping preferences for him he doesn't give me romance vibes.
