12th November 1944, was the day Isabella and Raven Darkholme found their forever home. They were in new york, Raven disguised as an adult man and Isabella invisible holding onto her sister's hand. They had come upon a huge-looking home. Raven thought it would be a good idea to break in and eat their food. She saw a picture on the wall and chose a person to use as a cover. She chose a gorgeous-looking woman, who she assumed was the owner of the home and maybe the mother of the child living there. Isabella was making a hot chocolate for them both when she heard a boy talk. He ended up being a mutant just as they were. He let them stay there and years later became their brother.

Charles helped Bella maintain her mutation. She liked to think her mutation made her special, and that there was no one like her. Her mutation consists of invisibility, force field projection, healing and she can not just render herself invisible but others as well. She loves the fact that her eyes light up a mix of gold and white when she uses them - apart from when she's invisible of course - it sets her apart from others.

Now in 1962, they had come a long way from the little girl who could only turn herself invisible when she was scared, She could do a lot more.
