If I’m honest. Dash possesses several traits that I believe to align with my own as an autistic person. The way that he talks and behaves just felt very in line with them even if not intended. Things such as his interest in being a detective feeling very much like a special interest. As it is confirmed as a child that he wanted to be a detective, asked for nothing but a detective kit for Christmas and even still uses the kit for his professional work as a private hire.

He also features in a podcast called ‘The Case of the Greater Gatsby’ where his special episode is themed around him! Which is where a lot of my headcanons of him being Autistic came from.
