(Had a rough day today, so I did some writing to comfort myself. Hope some of you can find comfort in this as well. I picked a few of my faves for this one)

Betty

Won't let you go until your smiling again: he can't have you leaving without feeling entirely like yourself.

The perfect person to go to if you need a little pick-me-up.

If you need a distraction he's your guy. Ask him about his current hyperfixation and you'll be grinning in no time: his smile is just so contagious.

He's also surprisingly good at giving advice.

Knows the best ways to soothe your eyes after crying, and will pamper you until your low mood is forgotten.

He sends you away with a sweet little peck on the nose; you leave the bathroom feeling refreshed and much lighter that when you walked in.

Freddy

He's so soft with you, it's adorable.

Swamps you in a big ole hug that makes you feel safe and protected.

Comfort food! Comfort food!

If you get a headache from crying he'll press his cool palm against it to ease the pain.

He's a great listener; always knows what to say to make you feel better.

Makes silly jokes until you crack a smile.

Daisuke

Sit with him and tell him what's troubling you. He'll hold your hand gently as he listens.

The most attentive partner: knows what you need from him without having to be told.

Solution oriented.

Will do whatever he can to help you with your problem, even if that's just by holding you.

You get to see the softest side of him in these moments, as he dries your tears and mutters compassionate, wise words into your hair.

Rainey

She's wonderful at taking your mind off of whatever's bothering you. Her vibrant personality can make anybody feel better.

Come dance with her, or watch her dance if you're not feeling up to it, it's sure to put a smile on your face.

If that doesn't work she's glad to sit and chat for a bit.

Tell her what's wrong and she'll hold your hands, telling you you're far to good for the world to treat you like this.

Time to pick yourself up and show your troubles you're not gonna let them keep you down.

Dasha

Holds you so tightly, and doesn't let go until you do.

Might cry with you honestly, she just hates to see her beloved suffering.

Encourages you to share the burden with her, tell her what she can do to help.

Will do anything she can to make you smile again. Would probably lift you over her head just to make you giggle.

Glued to your side until she's certain you feel better.

Takes such good care of you when you're feeling low, you have all of her attention.

Eddie & Volt

Drop everything to be by your side.

Both of them are the types that love deeply, so your pain is their pain.

They take you somewhere quiet to calm down. Volt wraps his jacket around your shoulders hoping the warmth and weight will bring you comfort (it does).

Eddie will crouch down in front of you to meet your eyes and ask what's wrong. I imagine him being incredibly soft in sensitive moments like these.

They both listen intently, Volt holding you as your body wracks with sobs.

Volt is much better with words so Eddie lets him do most of the comforting, opting to hold your hand so you know he's still there.

So incredibly patient and understanding with you. Take as long as you need, they'll be right there.

Pretty short of each character. Simple and sweet.

You might think that Beverly wouldn't like kids due to her running a bar, but that is far from the truth! She absolutely adores kids, and your younger sibling is not an outlier to this statement.

While she isn't able to make alcoholic drinks, she's always down to make a delicious mocktail. Quietly whispering to you which ingredients to use so it turns out perfect for them.

Seeing your younger sibling compliment how pretty her bar is (the different glass containers sparkle in the light), or how yummy the mocktail she helped you make always brightens her day.

Holds nothing but respect for you, taking care of a kid is hard if she's read anything about it. It's admirable to her how much effort you put into making sure your sibling is happy, even if it means hard work for you.

The two seem pretty neutral on your younger sibling at first, but as time progresses it's easy to tell they love them.

When you apologize to Florence for your sibling running and stomping on her so much she just brushes it aside, saying it's fine and if anything it feels like a little massage.

Celia is a little hard to read, but through slip ups during conversations you get the hint that she thinks your sibling is a little darling.

Both of them think they're adorable, and ask you about their life outside of the house/before they came to live with you. Always they ask about how their day at school was, or how your day out with them were, asking if there's anything they could do to help you.

They love seeing you spend time with your younger sibling, even if it's just cuddling up on the couch and watching TV. That sibling bond isn't something they've ever had, and it's so adorable to them.

If they were ever able to meet your sibling, Florence would be all over them, picking them up and carrying them around sometimes. Celia would be a little less hands on, but would absolutely hold the kids hand if they asked nicely.

Neither of them would mind if the kid were to barge into the office, much like they don't mind when you do.

Dasha absolutely adores the little bugger! She thinks they are so cute, and tells you as much when she sees you!

Watches as they sit with you as you work and praises them for being so well behaved, even though they can't hear her.

When she finds out you'll be the only one watching over them, she worries for your health a little. You already take care of all the objects, are you sure a human child would be okay? But her fears are quickly put to rest after seeing how well you treat them. And how happy they make you.

She doesn't have any siblings, so she can't relate, but every time it's just your sibling in the office she can't help but worry and watch over them to make sure nothing happens. When you come back you can see her hovering just behind the kid and panicking as they play with scissors.

If she ever met your sibling, it would be a giggle fest. Her picking them up and probably never letting them go, swinging them around gently and pretending to lift them light a weight. Their happy giggles make her smile brightly.

It's no surprise to anyone that Dunk absolutely loves your younger sibling! When he found out they'd be coming to live with you he was already ecstatic for a new buddy to be around the house, even if he can't talk to them.

But the enthusiasm they showed over all the sports equipment you had? Over him? Oh he was practically jumping up and down.

He's absolutely convincing you to go out to the backyard and play ball with them, any ball! Just go and have fun with them! Let him join in on all that loving family memories.

When he watches at you and your sibling play catch, he can't help but think back to his childhood, and the way how he never got to smile like that with any of his family. It makes him really happy.

She's one of the few objects that sees your sibling the most, seeing as you almost always have her with you- on or off doesn't matter- which means she gets to see a lot of your interactions.

The bravery she sees you have with them is something that assured her you're a good person, watching you make little sacrifices a lot of people wouldn't even notice for their sake. When she tries bringing it up to you, you simply turn down her efforts and tell her you'd do it a million times over for them.

If she ever does meet your sibling, she's definitely doing something chill with them. Really she isn't good with kids, and probably won't ever be, but some good old chillaxin is something she can do! Sitting on the couch and watching TV or even just watching them and you play games would be something she would be happy to do.

It's a well known fact that he's had bad experiences with kids, watching his friends be ruined due to them (as well as neglect), but he trusts you to not let him suffer the same fate.

Both don’t pay a lot of attention of how you look but they DO pay attention to what you like.
