Some time ago I posted a concept for Infected Hector, today I decided to draw it again.
Work's been beating me, but I felt bad for not posting- also I wanted to draw something for fun- Plus! It's spooky season!
So here we go! :D

Horror Lux sketches/ how it happened [below cut]
I could see lux getting latched onto the radiance of being brighter, being seen for miles like stadium light, it making them brighter and brighter and more blunt, more vain, until it warps their mind [and face]
I had the idea of lux looking into amir and it ends up hindering them both, lux by the brightness burning their face cause mirrors reflect light
Date Everything (Horror/Glitched Version!)
Hey guys! I’ve been seeing a few different horror Date Everything AU’s circling around, so i thought I’d give it a go! The horrors and glitches in this AU will be the result of something unknown happening to Daemon, which caused the whole game to glitch out and all the objects to become…terrifying…versions of themselves. There are five levels of danger in this AU (1 being not dangerous, and 5 being highly dangerous) and three different levels of hostility(?) that the objects can all be.
First character I have done is: Dorian!
Art and headcanons for this AU below ⬇️ (⚠️TRIGGER WARNING⚠️: blood, death/killing mentions, and his face is an animal skull if that makes anyone uncomfortable!)
Date Everything horror concept
Everyone talks about the realization that the objects are like, sentient, and the horror of always being watched, yadayadayada
Bare minimum horror, especially when clearly almost all the objects are very dedicated to fulfilling their role. It should instead focus on treating those objects kindly
No no, true horror is: someone has entered your house and commits some form of extreme abuse on you. Could be an ex, a family member, or a stranger.
And all these objects that care for you just have to watch. And after you sit there knowing they’ve all seen it, they all know. And part of you is bitter, they didn’t do anything, but also… what could they do? So you cry on the floor, knowing Florence is soaking up your tears, knowing they’re still watching. They’re likely desperate for you to put on the glasses, talk to someone, not be alone, they want to comfort, want to help
But you don’t know if you can handle it
I've seen a lot of people theorizing that Date Everything is this dark hidden secret psychological horror game and that MC is trapped in their own home and forced to talk to the dateables against their will.
I think theories are super fun to have, but the horror aspect just doesn't fit into Date Everything in my opinion. Mc is allowed to leave but Skyler makes it clear that the game ends right when they do so and MC as an individual can remove the glasses whenever and wherever they please.
I think a thriller is more appropriate
If you want to get into theories, I believe this game has a unique way of putting an individual who clearly struggles with socializing and creating close, personal bonds. Into a situation where socializing is easier than it ever has been.
Mc, on numerous occasions, is said to be rather lonely and a shut in. They have abandonment issues, a strained relationship with their parents, haven't been in a romantic/sexual relationship in a long time and never have guests over, the only time anyone even shows up at their door is to drop of food/packages. And since their job is remote the only human/human socializing they do is through a computer screen.
While it's not stated that MC has agoraphobia but i think there might be a mind case to be made there, I think it might be an aiding factor in their decision-making.
I believe this game explores what would happen if Homeowner, an individual with pre-existing issues relating to the outside world, were one day placed in the middle of a whole community in the comfort of their own home at all times, who know them intimately without their prior knowledge. (That's a scarier aspect I guess.)
They all have their own unique personality, opinions, tastes, hobbies, and they all rely on you to help them (to some capacity).
Mc is given purpose.
And they have to decide to define if they truly want to be lonely forever or if they will take this opportunity to change themselves and find comfort in the presence of others again.
This is so messy but please understand what I'm trying to explain. AAHGHH- BYE
More Horror Au! Lux
Cause I can't get enough of turning that lamp into a trainwreck
I used one of his interaction quotes for this one
