Sometimes we get caught up in our emotions
We become, infatuated, flustered, careless and hostile.
And we tend to overlook what is right in front of us
We become careless with the ones that we love
And those who are supposed to be near and dear to us become the true victims
The unfortunate to be in range of our destruction.
Brush away the dirt, we dry out what is soaked and spongy
We throw out everything that is unfavored
And what is left? Nothing but bare surface
In the depth of emptiness, deep in my sorrow
What if I came with the hope of a new beginning?
Possibilities would drown in doubt
“Thoughts of being over.”
