heya kiddos, jack here! posting another promo but this time, disability edition! uhh yall should follow me because we are both physically and mentally disabled :] and who wouldn't wanna have a super sexy disabled CEO as a mewtual?

Hey guys just dropping in to say HEDs/HSD is NOT as rare as tiktok/other social media platforms would have you believe and it is possible to be hypermobile and NOT experience full dislocations. Hypermobility is (as many things are) a spectrum, no matter where you fall on the spectrum your symptoms, pain etc are valid <3
HEDs is also not! The only type of EDS and I believe that should be more widely acknowledged!
With that said if you suspect you are hypermobile or have another type of EDS you should ABSOLUTELY see your doctor about it and discuss your options, do your research and refuse to be dismissed as they are so inclined to do. The road may be hard but the journey is worth it in the end.
I (🍌) have had to resort to this as it has come to my attention that some alters are trying to walk with a cane and causing major crashes.
DID amnesia, source attachment and diffcuilties with communication don't go away just because the body is disabled.
I have also observed that each alter has to accept the body's disability individually. We are a polyfragmented system, there is a very large number of alters and the system is not fully known to me.
This makes dealing with a physical disability especially challenging.
celebrating disability pride month by disabling ourself even further 🙂
A Nepenthe Guide: How i log my parts
i thought i would share the apps/places i keep track of my system and parts and the information i keep track of.
the apps i use:
prism and pluralspace are both system specific apps that i really like and find the most helpful for me. (this is not a review on them but maybe I'll make a post later about it)
i use a private discord server and the server i have with my partner for logging information, using pluralkit and just being able to present as ourselves easier.
notion is less used currently but we have a system dashboard with various things on it for us.
see more in depth information about these under the cut!
MRAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!! at the END OF THE DAY, just when I couldn’t wait longer and when my birthday was feeling pretty crappy, THEY ARRIVED!!!!!!!! my darling starsky is here!!! I made a necklace and bridle and modified a harness to fit them, and omg they’re so soft and adorable <333 I’m pretty sure a fragment is already latching to them, and BONUS I’m like 99% sure it’s sunrise’s sib too, cuz they were really cuddly with sunrise’s plushie, so YAY!!!!
