He is a person that takes his personal image and brand very seriously
He is the definition of tall, dark, and handsome
He doesn’t have a good relationship with his mother, but his oldest memory is of playing in her jewelry box
He is a blood superemist and it’s his biggest flaw
He has severe anxiety that he passes down to his daughter
He fell in love with Daphne Greengrass because of her laugh, everything else followed
Daphne proposed to him in front of a large group of people and he turned her down
He did later propose to her, in the quiet of their shared flat
He doesn’t do crowds very well
They got married in a very quiet ceremony of just their friends and immediate family
Blaise’s mother did not attend by her own choice
They were one of the last to get married, Theodore and Padma the only ones after them to marry
Blaise had been really surprised when Daphne told him she was pregnant with their daughter, Lyla
They didn’t really prepare for her at all, not until Padma and Theodore had their daughter Anamika (born 22 days before Lyla)
Blaise did all of the preparations and put together the nursery and read a few books very quickly
He nearly dropped Lyla the first time he held her
Daphne picked out the name Lyla, Blaise gave her the middle name Ophelia
They were very hands off parents and brushed Lyla off onto others, she had been with a private tutor since she was three until she was sent to Hogwarts
Blaise had cried the first time that he saw Lyla have a panic/anxiety attack
He couldn’t believe that his daughter inherited this from him
He is the driving force of Lyla going to therapy
He also makes sure to write to her a LOT while she’s at Hogwarts
He wants her to know that he’s there for her, but he doesn’t know the right words to use
It’s really hard for Blaise to watch Lyla grow up and become independent of him and Daphne, just knowing that she isn’t his little girl with ribbons in her hair who comes to him for hugs after bad dreams is so hard on him!
He loves her so much but is just shit at telling her with actual words
About ten years after Lyla graduates and moves out and is living with her boyfriend she gets pregnant
Blaise wants to be in his grandson’s life, so he starts to open up more and tells Lyla that he does want to be in her life more
They grow really close and he is a wonderful grandfather to all four of her children

So the day after my dad took my phone a while back he’s taking me to school, cause I missed the bus my brother caught, and says “so I was checking your texts and you were talking to a friend about being bisexual?” And I was like “yeah I was cause I am” I was freaking out.
