very complex trauma programming shit about elliot, was RELENTLESS. a lot happened but i don’t wanna like talk about it it tbh lol but we are 10000004039929% GOOD like the BEST we as a whole system have EVER been in our whole LIFE like for really f R!!!!!!!!! 💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞 i’m so sorry to worry anyone 😭😭😭😭😭🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
I just wanted to pop in and say how grateful we are for your literal existence on this earth, who you are as a human being, & for being so kind to everyone all the time. our insanely abusive ex-gf had/has a similar aesthetic, typing style, etc., down to the "traumacore" themes (using that term extremely loosely bc your lived experiences aren't at ALL the same as an aesthetic, but she used it as an aesthetic and excuse to be a vile human being!) & the fact that someone as gentle and kindhearted as you can have a similar aesthetic & blogging style is so healing for the trauma that being with her for 5 years gave us. (how many times can I say aesthetic lol). I hope I'm wording this carefully enough. I don't want to trigger you by inadvertently conflating you and an abuser as identical, but I'm worried I might be bc I'm still brain-foggy from just waking up! ૮₍ ˃ ⤙ ˂ ₎ა we are just so genuinely thankful you exist!!!! you show us (and anyone else with similar trauma) that these preferences & styles can exist without everyone who likes them being abusive ( ˊᵕˋ )♡.°⑅
hiiii!! omg you’re so kind 🥹🥺 im so grateful you exist too!!!! thank you so much for reaching out to me, so wonderful to hear from you 🥹🩷
i’m so so sorry your ex was so cruel and abusive to you for so long 😔 having mental health conditions (especially something like bpd) is never a valid excuse to hurt people and loved ones without taking accountability or trying to change. i could be so cruel and volatile before i started seeking treatment, but at the end of the day it was always only up to me to learn to control my emotions and actions, and use the tools therapists gave me. I’m so sorry you went five years without her changing or learning, and i’m so glad you’re free of that relationship now because you genuinely do deserve to be loved, respected and showed empathy and kindness 🥺
i’m so so glad im able to be a safe space and person, and help you & others learn that people who have been abused don’t always become abusive themselves, and that it’s never okay to use mental health conditions as an excuse to be awful, manipulative or abusive 🩷🩷
Dude, i just realized this, but we no longer have deer/fawns as a major trigger bc we associate them with you now. our ex-girlfriend, who was insanely beyond abusive, was obsessed with them & like.... used the helpless baby fawn motif (along with angels & sanrio) to mask how putrid she behaved IRL & for the longest time, we couldn't look at deer, especially not fawns, without feeling nauseous. but it *just* dawned on me that that association is now largely replaced by "oh, a deer, that's todd." idk, might be being sappy but it surprised me!
Wait I love this so much 😭 Deer are such amazing animals, I’m sorry your ex had ruined them :/ I hope you can enjoy them now because they’re definitely a little treat to see.
And this isn’t sappy don’t worry, this made my day.
would you like to expand on your thoughts on Cuckoo? someone I like said it was "so scary" but when I saw the trailer while seeing longlegs it looked....okay? I like hunter schafer but it seems silly.
i didn't think it was scary but they built decent suspense at times & if you're afraid of being followed, particularly in the dark, that might get you. otherwise, i thought cuckoo was very very disappointing. i went just because i wanted to see hunter schafer & she was great! but the movie itself was extremely mediocre
