For me to post this picture is very hard to do, but I am also very proud. I love my entire body, but my stomach and I have had a long battle of self love, we are now on speaking terms and I look at myself naked every day and admire who I am exactly as I am. I finally felt comfortable posting this because in the past two weeks I have lost 12 lbs and 14 inches off of my body. I do measurements every Saturday. 5 of those inches alone have been from my stomach. To me that is a huge accomplishment. Because that is the hardest place for me. All my stress stores right there where I carried those babies I love so much. I used to think that somehow my stomach made me less than. I have been blessed to have a few men love me AND my stomach and in turn help me Learn to love it also. So as it changes as I am on this journey of health.... it’s not going away... but it’s a metamorphosis into something different, more healthy. I wish the plus size fashion industry would post models of women who have stomachs also, rather than just the women with the curves and a flat stomach... I always felt I must have had something wrong to not look like that. I never saw that in fashion until @tessholliday finally started making a scene. 💗 Some people start out on their fitness journey skinny, some start off big. It doesn’t matter. Be proud of your journey and your progress. Be proud of you exactly as you are so you can believe in yourself to get to where you want to be. I worked out for three hours today. I pushed myself, I worked my ass off and I was the happiest I have been in a long long time. I do this for me. And I deserve the best in all things, including health. And I post this picture for all the people afraid to post theirs because they feel less than... you’re not less than. You are just as important and beautiful. And you deserve to do what makes you happy and healthy also. This is dynamic self love... What if you simply allowed yourself to feel love without condition, or attachment... but loved for the sake of loving? When we love without attachment we are expressing that the love you give is not dependent on anything else. Then it becomes unwavering. I love you because I love... not I love you because you do this or that. I love you because you are a sacred being, a treasure, simply as you are. I love you because my happiness is not dependent on you, it is dependent on me. I love you because I understand that when you say or do hurtful things, it is your own pain projecting from you in your effort to either escape it or understand it. I love you because I see your highest good. I love you because I know that you are human. I love you simply as a raindrop and as encompassing as the ocean. I love you because I am loving. Hello Sunshine’s. The doctors have finally found the right combo of meds. I have been battling Legionnaires Disease (nasty a-typical pneumonia) for just under four months now. This is the best I have felt in many months with meds starting last Friday night. I have a lot of detoxing that needs to be done, as well as energetic, soul and deep heart healing. I am so blessed to have my tight inner circle of friends who encouraged and support my decision take a total break from all social media for a month. I will be using this month to reconnect to my higher self, focus on healing my body and developing solid habits that will build the foundation for the big chapter in my life that is just ahead. I will be having auto posts going to create good vibes but I will not be available for comments or messages on any social media. Our body must be strong and well to make our mind strong also. 🏋🏻‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️ I will see you all on the Spring Equinox, when it’s the time of blooming and planting.
