As a grocery store employee I have to make a statement.

If you’re not wearing a mask or take it off when you’re in the store: you’re a fuckhead

If you wear a mask but don’t cover your nose: you’re a fuckhead

If you want to complain about breathing problems, or a doctor’s note that you don’t have, saying that you don’t have to wear a mask: you’re a fuckhead

none of you are valid.

I have asthma, serious allergies, and my parents and I are all in at risk groups.

If I can wear a mask all day at work without breathing problems but you can’t: you’re a fuckhead

several doctors have proven that wearing a mask does not effect your oxygen intake or your blood/oxygen levels.

You’re a fuckhead.  You’re not Valid.  Stop throwing tantrums that would embarrass a five year old, and go home.  We’re all ashamed of you.

One of my managers is married with a kid, but continually flirts with our local male *$ employee. It was so uncomfortable because she was using him for free drinks. It's so... uncomfortable to watch them interacting.

Ugh.

This is no better than if it were a male manager using a female employee for free drinks. It works both ways.

I’m torn between saying have a barf bag ready for yourself and a baseball bat for the manager.... But that mostly depends on getting involved or not. Oh yeah, and it’s not a cartoon so we have to resort to leaving those images in our heads. -_-;

To say the least? Your manager sucks.

DISCLAIMER: THIS ONE IS WEIRDER THAN NORMAL...

*Scene: where else but self checkout...*

Customer: "EXCUSE ME!"

You: "Yes, how can I help you?"

Customer: *wordlessly holds up small item with a security tag on it*

You: *sees that it has not been scanned in; slowly reaches for item and scans it at the terminal*

Machine: *beep [insert moderate price here]*

Customer: "Take that black thing off of it."

You: "I'm sorry, ma'am, I don't have anything to take of this particular tag. But I can deactivate it for you so you don't set off the alarm."

Customer: "Unacceptable! Where is your manager?!"

You: "Ssshhhhh!! Come on, ma'am, it doesn't have to be this way--"

Customer: *whacks you with item* "SILENCE! I WILL NOT STAND FOR YOUR INSOLENCE!"

You: *cowering* "I'm sorry for my shortcomings! Please don't beat me! I'm still healing from last week's beating!"

Customer: "You must learn that the customer is always right. I won't beat you this time. But if I get this item home and I can't get the tag off, I'M RETURNING IT!"

You: *gasps* "Oh god no! Please! Not a return! It'll put our store in a deficit! We'll go broke! I won't have a job!" *sobs*

Customer: "Well then you better hope I have scissors at home..." *glares, then exits*

You: "Have a good day!"

so we have this little trash container next to where people pick up their drinks so they can put their straw wrappers in it and today I was emptying it out and someone. jammed an entire bowl lid in there. please. there is a full-size trashcan not 20 feet away. please at least ask before doing something like this idk it clearly did not fit
