Qui dove il mare luccica..
e tira forte il vento..
Qui su una vecchia terrazza all’alba mi affaccio e stringo il nuovo giorno in un abbraccio..
P.S. Pensiero riveduto a modo mio..
Measure
Sent upon a breath
—
of winter’s worst, we’re struck
by an eolian pulsebeat; its shiver
is the grand measure to which
—
our seas, forests, and
mountains become more than
—
monuments among mute children
the wind in this desert where
gnostic texts hide themselves
[ el elu ]
i rest
they & i are in dust
swirling
[ ella ella ]
somewhere robed ones chant
unseen & i
& i wait, patiently
[ eth ]
& i
& i watch, enchanted
[ elu elu i alelu ]
the wind in the desert rises
these are the moments
where i forget, & i
[ aileh ]
dry pages rustle & fly
this aeolian cry
[ eleleth ]
symbols on fragile paper
dance before my eyes
just as i hope, & i
[ el ella ]
i rest & i read & i wait
& i rise
in the wind of the desert
[ & i ]
Eolian
I can feel you there in the wind
Your essence calls to me
Along the breeze you return to your roots, it's not my place to say where you've been
What caused you to leave your world behind, what compels you to be here now
Perhaps you remember who you are, your trials from the past still linger in your mind
Yet, you will suffer pain yet it's time to take your place again
Stand, run, tell your demons to never return
They will try to best you, undermine you, take you life as they did so long ago
You must not be afraid, let out your mighty call what ever it may be
As the storm clouds recede, clear skies come in again; see the stars in joy for the first time since
Tomorrow the sun will rise, the birds will sing and with every step the road will become new
This I promise to you, the one I feel in the wind...

Let me know what you think and pass the thought along.
Eolian thought,
wisdom from the storms of life,
ones that stung your skin,
ripped away at hollow souls
and left your driftwood like form.
