When things go wrong, you'll find they usually go on getting worse for some time; but when things once start going right they often go on getting better and better.

I just realized that Sade wrote something of a treatise on thug life into 'Justine,' what is going on. [SF: 'Justine.' Marquis de Sade, in 'The Marquis de Sade: Justine, Philosophy in the Bedroom, and Other Writings.' 493-495]
Question for my fellow vegans
Dear all, Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! I have a question for you guys and gals today: Would you eat an egg if you knew it was ethically sourced? As in I live in the suburbs, and around some farms, like legit for real small family farms. A friend of mine also raises chickens as pets, they are so very happy little cluckers (and trust me I know, I used to raise chickens myself), and he was telling me how he gives away their eggs, since he has a little flock that gives a nice plenty every day, way more than his family could ever consume. Would you be opposed to consuming these eggs, that come from happy, truly free range, hormone free, antibiotic free, chickens? Thoughts on why, if not? From my understanding ethical veganism is the protest of inhumane treatment of farm animals, and while killing them is needless I understand, the dairy aspect is that they too are abused any ultimately killed. What if you truly 100% knew that your eggs were coming from your neighbor? In addition if you raise chickens yourself would you eat their eggs? I'm seriously considering taking some of Grant's eggs, I think they'd be lovely, in addition to being organic, and fresh, my family would be eating eggs that weren't cruelly produced, and I wouldn't feel bad at all if I ate some either, but hey that's just me. What about you guys? Please feel free to message me your answer, I'm curious to see what you all think!
