The warning label on the CD cover baffled me. What explicit content …? However, it’s a fact that my auditory receptors aren't what they once were, so I figured I must have missed something juicy.
So, I went through the lyrics of all the Cosmic Selector songs, as posted on Genius.com, and found a few G- - damns and one ass.
I guess that’s all it takes to qualify as "explicit," which surprises me in this age of rampant vulgarity.
This reminds me of the time in 2015 when LH played Calvin College (now Calvin University), a Christian school in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The Bubs were cautioned to forgo the F-bomb in the song “Meet Me in the Woods.” Even for Calvin, the request seemed quaint.
They ignored the advice and sang the lyrics as they were written.
