I’m a weirdo with my own created mythology so here’s an introduction to the first 7 gods in creation, including the 4 Major gods, their domains, and a little bit about them.
Iraé – The Iridescent Goddess of Creation & Primordial Light
🌈 Queen of the Gods, Creator of the Universe
The first light in the cosmos, Iraé shaped existence from nothingness, her radiance birthing the physical world. Though distant and unfathomable, she is not unkind. She rarely manifests in her true form, instead choosing avatars or visions of shimmering light. Mortals revere her as the mother of all that exists, and her creations—the angels and fairies—serve as testaments to her boundless love for existence.
The Void Goddess – The Endless Hunger
🌑 The Consuming Darkness, She Who Holds All Souls
The Void is not empty, for it is her. She is the darkness that always was, the force that cradles all that was lost and will never return. All souls belong to her in the end, but her intentions remain unknowable. Though feared, she is not cruel; she simply is. She has been known to bless those she takes an interest in, especially those who revere the mysteries of the unknown. All souls come from Iraé and in most cases, will return to her. Her name is not known to us.
Elythea- The Goddess of Primordial Love
💖 Mother of the Major Gods, the Pulse of Existence
Born from the endless eternal yearning of Iraé and The Void Goddess for each other, and the pain of knowing they could never interact for light and dark cannot mix, she embodies the first and purest love—a force that binds the universe itself. She is the mother of Aliorayah, Vaelen, Kaelen, and Thania, her love transcending the boundaries of creation and the Void. Her presence is rarely seen, but her influence is undeniable, woven into the very fabric of reality.
Aliorayah – Goddess of Joy
🌊🌍 Joy, Celebrations, Festivals, Affection, Childhood, Innocence, Peace, Charity, Bees & Honey
A radiant force of warmth and happiness, Aliorayah brings light to the darkest corners of existence. Festivals are held in her honor, and laughter is her prayer. Yet joy is not always soft. She has been known to strike down those who disrupt harmony, her vengeance swift and righteous. Elves adore her as their patron, for she made a sacred pact that allows them to live in harmony with the spirits and animals of the world. Her natural elements are water and earth.
Vaelen – God of Insatiable Lust and Eternal Ecstasy
🔥🌬️ Lust, Divine Ecstasy, the Winds, Mountains, Nymphs, Vampires, Blood, Orgies, Sacred Secrets, Hauntings
Twin god to Kaelen. A god of passion in all its forms, Vaelen is both lover and tempest, embodying the intoxicating forces of desire and pleasure. His nymphs wander the world, spreading his influence, while his whispers haunt the dreams of those who deny their deepest cravings. His presence is undeniable in the mountain winds and in the forbidden rites performed in his name. Though he delights in seduction and indulgence, he is also a god of secrets; of hidden truths only revealed to the worthy. His natural elements are fire and air.
Kaelen – God of Unending Fury
🔥🌍 Fury, War, Strength, Wrath, Destruction, Unyielding Will
Twin god to Vaelen. The embodiment of relentless rage, Kaelen is the war cry that echoes across battlefields. Orcs revere him, not as a god to be feared, but as a divine force that grants them strength and purpose. He is the storm of war, the earthquake that shatters empires. And yet, beneath his wrath, there is a deep sense of justice; Kaelen’s fury is not aimless, but precise, unleashed upon those who truly deserve his rage. His natural elements are fire and earth.
Thania – Goddess of Grief and Hidden Realities
🌊🌬️ Grief, Sorrow, the Seas, the Air, Divine Judgments, Divine Omens, Owls, Absolute Beauty, Shadows, Secrets Unknowable
The goddess of sorrow does not weep, for she is the weeping itself. Thania is the tide that washes away the remnants of joy, the whispered omen before tragedy strikes. She is revered by those in mourning, feared by those who have something to hide. Her judgments are final, and her beauty is so absolute that it is said to drive mortals mad. The air carries her messages, and the ocean conceals her secrets; only the worthy may hear her voice in the wind. Though not usually actively sought after by mortals, she is a balm to the grieving, and a shade to the scorned. Her natural elements are water and air.
I’ll be posting more about them and the other gods not mentioned here, including stories of them interacting with mortals, interacting with each other, and other miscellaneous stuff, but it’s something I’ve been working on for a while now. Which god calls to you?
