omg pride month win.... lesbian litter

The featherclan lesbians are both slaying and suffering....

I would love to say that I'm trying to have that specific update in June because of pride month but it's actually kind of because of artfight lol! The only problem right now is that I decided for the next moon to be something centered around Dusk and I'm trying to figure out how to make it more concise right now while still including important bits. I'm really excited to draw moon 29!

I also am doing another project that has a due date so! we'll see what happens.

how did ravensmoke get their bird name?

Ravenstar as a babyyyy

This ask was in the ask box for so long, I was just trying to decide what I wanted to draw for it. But also for lore!! According to the general consensus of the clan and traditionally naming stuff, Ravensmoke was named correctly. The sound of a bird is a legitimate reason to name your kit after the bird. In Sparrowtuft's case, she was named that just because her mother thought she would do something great. There was no sign. The clan kind of side eyed Eagleclaw because of that, because it just wasn't the done thing.

🧡 for Sparrowtuft and Dusk?

Don't have the screenshot of their relationship chart thing, but I can definitely describe it.

Dusk towards Sparrowtuft is overall positive! Nothing very extreme so far, especially because Dusk is so new. Some platonic like and some comfort.

Sparrowtuft towards Dusk is a little more complicated. But her dislike of Dusk is a little more than her like of Dusk. She's also got a tiny bit of jealousy and respect.

A little more out of the chart wise, Sparrowtuft is unsure of Dusk joining the clan and is a little jealous of how well her and Ravenstar get along. But she also sees the benefit of having more members, especially a large cat like Dusk. Plus, it's not like Dusk has said anything rude to her. Meanwhile Dusk is still getting a feel for things, she's definitely more used to being alone but Sparrowtuft hasn't wronged her at all.
