"sometimes I feel like an alien.."
Another from my Dark Revival rewatch. Thought this might be a fun interaction with both Ford and Audrey having trauma related to their hands (and both being introverts.)
Audrey has something of a conga line of trauma which is why she can be a bit...jumpy sometimes. But a big one is Audrey is somewhat touch averse. Both from being a bit introverted and mainly because the last times someone grabbed her hands, it was to kill her and a couple other times she accidentally zapped someone with her banish ability. She has to trust someone before letting them touch her, although she's better with initiating touch. She also has a tendency to grab her left hand with the other as a self-soothing gesture.
Ford having had to hide is polydactyly behind his back to avoid teasing (and having been through what Bill had put him through) I think he'd get that.

Colour theory
Purple, the colour of bruises, eggplants, and many other unpleasantries. Red and blue parents mix together so nicely, but truly... Purple isn't for you. I myself am more acquainted with Blues and Yellows. A garish colour combo that somehow works. How could that be? Is it colour theory, or is it just public opinion? Kind of like Pink and Orange. Who the hell thought that would be so pretty? Why on earth do so many unlikely parings work so well together? What if we tried You and I?

Being autistic in a world that dosen't understands...
A Different Kind Of Human - AURORA
I first heard this song this week, and my inner autistic child has never resonated with a song as strongly as this. I’ve never heard a song that so beautifully captured the intensity of feeling so utterly different and called out to that part and said “you’re not the problem.” And at the same time, it taps into the grief of knowing that belonging on another plane is just a fantasy, as plausible as alien abduction. It breaks me in a way I relish and repeat for hours on end, because I’m breaking me, it truly sees me. It’s a soul song, the same color as my gender and the corners of my mind, with one of the most beautiful melodies and vocal harmonies I’ve ever heard.
