So I finally have some time to actually reflect and get my thoughts together. December 2019 sucked. It just did. I was sick, my kids were sick....then of course I get sick again. And the only days I had off were a couple Fridays to prepare for my CCM exam, the day of the exam (which by the way I passed 😎 - certified case manager here) and then Christmas and New Years Day. That’s it. Thankfully I was able to work from home most days but working while you’re sick is horrible.
January is always a time to regroup and start fresh. Still wasn’t feeling 100% on the first but I pushed myself anyway. Two whole weeks in and I’m feeling really good. Sticking to the six days on, one day off schedule for now. And I have not eaten meat this month 😲. Only eggs. At the end of the month I’m going to really consider dropping meat for good or maybe just bringing in seafood.
I also looked over my progress from last year. Other than becoming more consistent with exercise, I didn’t really lose much (I started the year back at 230 😑). But the months I did net a loss, I was doing intermittent fasting. So I’ve gone back to doing that and will stick with it since I have proof that it works.
Okay, I think I’ve rambled enough. I got my barbell/lower body workout in this morning. All the typical stuff. Now I can start my day.
