Personally I think Barry should have lightning literally pulsing beneath his skin. I want to see it 24/7. I want it to leave marks all the time and they heal but they appear as fast again and there’s always a soft hum coming from him.

Can we talk about Barry being autistic?

Even if he is pretty friendly, people still thinking he is socially awkward and it's show he has problems socializing. Like, saying he is socially awkward is one of the most common description he receives. He tends to be literal, has an exact and detailed way to express himself and has his own sense of humor. Not only that but he misses a lot of social cues. It's always tell that he is naive about people's intentions and he trusts too much in people to the point of being a problem bc people tend to be mean to him for this.

He has not problems doing small talk but bc for him it's part of a routine, is something structured and when doing it, he is sincere most of the time (except when he don't know how to express his problems)

Btw, he is sometimes seen as being childish for his way of expressing joy and happiness, they way he talks and moves in that moments. Other times he seen as being too serious but that why he is so strict about following rules.

And he has problems expressing and identifying his emotions, to the point of being so confused about them, and also people around him has difficulties knowing what happens to him. That's another reason people tend to think that Barry is distant. The others reasons are: His way of socializing, his need of having time alone and his need to spent time with his special interest.

Barry has two lifelong special interest: Comics and chemistry. He tends to hyperfocus a lot, specially bc he mixed his SpIn's to pursue a career. And he always is so invested in his interest that he forget to do other things like or going to his date with Iris. Barry is late to everything bc he is so hyperfocuses to the point of losing the sense of time.

Also, he even made friends bc of his interests (ex. Bruce)

He loves his interests bc it makes him feel safe, they are organized, logic, in order. He's also someone who is so good at catching details and noticing patterns, also he has an amazing memory. Damn, he infodumps a lot, like all the time he is infodumping (his Flash Facts are just he infodumping)

And this point relates to the fact that Barry needs routines and order. He feels everything is chaotic and he needs to feel in control. He hates uncertainty and disorder too much. That's why he tries to put everything in order, establish routines and use his SpIn in chemistry and other science to make sense of the world around him. People even consider him bored for being so structured and rigid but that's why he needs to feel safe and function well. That's why sometimes he had problems with Hal and Ollie, bc, for him, they broke his rules and structure. He even hate Oliver bc of that.

When he lost structure, he just became so overwhelmed, that's another reason why Reverse Flash is so terrifying for him, bc he could never know how and when he is going to attack again.

He is so clumsy and he kinda stims, specially by pacing and when he got his Flash powers, he included running.

Two important things: All of this are thing he presented since childhood and the traits related to more difficulties were more obvious when he was facing the trauma of Iris death and when he killed Eobard (pre-Crisis), and are more obvious due to him suffering from trauma related to all the shit Reverse Flash made him go through.

In the pre-Crisis era, Barry was raised in a friendly autistic house. He still had a solitary childhood and adolescence (he had one or two friends I think) and he felt lonely until he met Iris and when he became Flash, he meets Hal, Bruce and he finds his place. But when he went through Iris death and killing Eobard, Barry suffer a lot, like a lot. He even had meltdowns, he hurted himself, he isolated from others bc he really thought it was the right thing to do, etc.

When he came back to life, Eobard changed his life and Barry now carries traumas. If he already had problems socializing, now he also was socially anxious and he draw distance between himself and others bc of fear, also he had more problems connecting to others. He was more rigid and attached to his routines (ex. thinking he didn't had to tell anything to his friends bc that was wrong and they would suffer, and being too strict about it, or being more upset when things don't go like he planned/when unexpected things happen), he would had more meltdowns and go through burnout.

Headcanon : being in relationship with Harry Wells

Author note : Usually i dont do such a thing because i am pretty self-concious with my english but i just couldn’t stop myself so here we go ! I try to be gender neutral hope you won’t mind

Let’s start with the basics there are two Harry : Public!Harry and Private!Harry

Public!Harry tends to not be very affectionate in public : He worked so hard to build his own lab and the respect of his pair he knows very well how fragile those things can be. Plus since he starts to work with the flash he knows some people couple kidnap you and use you to put a threat on him. So basically he will just hold your hand or put his arm around you but nothing more, however dont get me wrong despite his « cold » attitude outside he won’t hesitate to praise you : especially in front of his coworkers he will tell them how incredible you are how lucky he is to have you by his side. In addition i headcanon him to be discreet when it’s about feeling he prefers to show his love for you when no one is around him

Then there is Private!Harry : Oh boy. That man can be very cute when he wants to. Like we all know he doesn’t know how to express his feelings with word so he shows you with action. From the very simple thing like : prepare your favourite breakfast, make sure you rest well etc to more explicit things (Kiss, touch)

He had this romantic side in him

He wants to be sure you feel loved

Not affraid to spoil you with compliment or just spoil you

Let’s say a lot of things have been broken during those days.

Yes I say « those » because Harry is a piece of work so he won’t say anything about what’s pissed him off but you know better.

The reason about his behaviour : Self-concious. Especially from his age (not that you care about it) He knows that you may (someday) want to have things he could not give such as child cause let’s be honest another precious baby in his life and his man is about to die of worry. But being the proud men he is he wants to keep you by his side and will never admit it : but come on you won’t be his significant other if you couldn’t read his man so please tell him he deserves everything.

BUT Jealous!Harry has his good side for you I mean (cause his coworkers are about to go Wilde) : Like I said Harrison is a man of action so let’s say you are going to enjoy yourself in bed ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

Angry!Harry : we know he uses to loose his temper pretty quickly when something is bothering him and in spite of his jealousy where he won’t say anything. Harrison Wells is not afraid to express his anger (poor Cisco) : broke things, grumble He does a lot.

But you precious Y/N you’re like the remedy of the year cause everytime he looks at you he relax immediately (how did you do that ?)

Of course its only work when you are not the object of his anger. Yeah cause you argue not all the time and to be quite honest both of you tends to be pretty cool at each other so you don’t fight easily but when you do it.

A lot of things broken some yells : but when you two got time to breath you realize how ridiculous it and usually you go back to his side he makes up to you and both of you go back to your perfect relationship

Except when you don’t go back to him to make things better : he knows he fucked up but it take for him to go apologize for his behaviour cause he always forgive himself easily. So during few days you won’t talk at each other and your friends feel sorry for both cause they know how hard it is for you.

It’s when he goes by your side to apologize that you realize you mean the world for him

I mean it you are his multiverse there is nothing he won’t do for you

Harrison Wells is man with a past a huge one he is difficult at the beginning to understand him but when you do it’s like you’ve met your soulmate

Since you two start to date he smiles more he becomes nicer that’s the effect you have on him

He loves everything about you : you are his angel

At some point you two are going to get married be sure about that (except if you don’t want it he is okay with that but turns to be more possessive around you cause you are not wearing his name)

Can we just talk about the crossover possibilities with Bram and kid flash being played by Keiynan Lonsdale? Bc let's just talk about the possibilities

Bram hiding his superhero identity from Simon and since Simon is a disaster he would have no idea, even when Bram accidentally uses his speed RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM

Bram telling Simon eventually and carrying him to cute touristy dates via super speed

BRAM LOVES SUPERHEROES WHICH MAKES THIS EVEN BETTER

Simon helping Bram train and timing him and watching Bram get really excited and smiley when he beats his record

Bram protecting Simon from the tiniest things like someone calling him a slur in the hallway and Bram gets in superhero mode and calls the bullies out before remembering that normal him is Not like that

Being the daughter of Hal Jordan and Wally West’s significant other:

A/N: I'm having writer's block with Damian's headcanon despite it being halfway through and I know I suck at finishing what I've started and updating frequently but now I've lots of ideas. They will all be headcanon but I will do drabbles every now and then when I'm inspired

Hal most probably got you from a one night stand because let's face it, he has too much responsibilities to be actually adopting a kid

When you were thrusted into his arms, he was confused and panicking because he never see himself as a father or actually dream of becoming one. Sure, when he was young but now, it never crosses his mind

He had to turn to Oliver, Barry and Dinah for help

They are often babysitting you when Hal is off world with his Green Lantern missions

He tries his best to not go off world too much when you come into his life because he didn't want to miss out on your life

As much as being a Green Lantern  a responsibility of his, you're his own responsibility too and one that he would never give up on no matter what so if he was being cornered to choose you or being a Green Lantern, you will be chosen without hesitation

He's such a doting and playful father but can be such an idiot too so the other JL members feel compelled to take care of you too

They all pamper you so much, buying you toys and soft toys and always visiting you and fighting for your attention and affection

After all, you were the first kid the JL members got close too before all their proteges come into the picture

Much to everyone's displeasure, Barry always is your favourite followed closely by the ladies

Despite Bruce and Hal not always seeing eye to eye, Bruce adores you

From young, you are so enraptured by his ring that Hal is so worried

He didn't want you to join him in the superhero gig but it was inevitable, especially when all the proteges were introduced

Dick was you first friend considering that Hal will send you to the manor despite it being at the opposite end of the continent

He trusts Alfred will take good care of you whenever he's off world and due to Dick being around your age, you won't be so lonely

As you spend your time there, you learn whatever training Dick was undergoing so much to Hal's chagrin, you know basic martial arts and hacking

Dick was the one to introduce you to the Teen Titans and Wally could not help it but rush to your side when his eyes first land on you

He pushed Donna aside to introduce himself first. He got a kick at the side for interrupting Donna

When you worry over him, his heart fluttered and his cheeks were ablaze

Dick could be seen rolling his eyes at the back alongside Garth raising his eyebrows at Wally

You became slightly jealous and envious when they went off for a mission, leaving you behind at the tower

Considering how close Hal and Barry are, Wally’s infatuation with you did not escape their knowledge

They became your biggest fans from the moment they saw you two interact. It's not hard to notice when Wally was tripping over his words and always scratching the back of his head as a nervous habit

When Barry and Wally ran back home, Barry had to prod and tease him for Wally to admit that you caught his attention

On the other hand, Hal was trying to make you talk but you only brush it off as you two being just friends

Barry always dropped you hints and pushed you two together and yet you were still so oblivious to them

And Wally was not faring any better due to his inability to actually have a decent conversation with you

Wally always complaining to Dick and Dick not knowing how to react at first because he grew up with you and now his best friend is interested in his childhood friend

Hal and Barry taking things into their own hands so they asked Oliver for help so Oliver was seen more often around Hal and you which meant Roy was not far behind

You getting closer to Roy and him flirting with you at times

Wally was not happy

So more complaints came to Dick’s way

Dick being frustrated this one time and just bursting so he literally dragged Wally in front of you, hissing at him to not leave that spot until he finish his business

You being confused but gave Wally time to construct whatever was bothering him into proper sentences

Him not succeeding because you were so beautiful and adorable with the smile plastered on your face

Roy passed by and he asked you if you were interested in watching a movie with him that weekend

Wally, butt hurt at being ignored and Roy being an arsehole, combusted

He blurted out that you would be going out with him instead so you can't go with Roy

You just rose an eyebrow at him but did not deny anything so Roy, all smug and smirking, just told you maybe another time

When Roy left, you stared at Wally for an explanation with your arms crossed and a smirk replacing your smile

He admitted his feelings and you kissed him on the cheek before promising to meet him that weekend. Wally almost died from happiness

But his feelings took a backseat when he could hear squealing and whispering from behind a wall that sounded so much like his mentor, your father and Oliver
