series summary (in game!au) when an exiled tommy finally rebels against a manipulative dream, he finds safety in neutral territory, a place owned and guarded by you. staying in your safe haven opens up the younger one’s eyes to your way of life, while also revealing your deeper past before neutral; a past that involved a war for your love.

technoblade found himself staring into the distant tundra more than he would care to admit. he just prayed to the gods every time he glanced into that endless snow that he’d see her trudging figure juxtaposed against the horizon. but the longing voices and the aching of his heart wasn’t enough to simply make her appear in the distance; only her own two willing feet could do that.
but of course, he always imagined that the one time he wasn’t looking would be when she was finally approaching.
“y/n!”
technoblade immediately rushed around the side of the house, only to see tommy petting one of the chickens that roamed free around his warm cabin. tommy looked up.
“hey, techno,” the boy spoke innocently. “need something?” techno watched as tommy scooped the chicken into his arms with no resistance. the usually skirmish animal didn’t show even a shadow of complaint, even nuzzling into tommy’s chest.
technoblade let out a long huff. “you did not seriously name a chicken after her.”
tommy immediately let out a loud laugh; the chicken didn’t even startle at the abrupt noise. “is that why you came running? you heard me call to the chicken?”
“oh, well..”
“god, you’re a simp, man!”
techno just shook his head as if that would rid the rush of voices. “we’re just gonna ignore that ya named a chicken after y/n?”
tommy scrambled to answer, “i-i mean.. chickens are motherly!”
“really? that’s your defense?”
...
“can y/n come into the house?”
“no.”
in just a week, tommy grew attached to the serene chicken. he constructed a new coop for the roaming chickens to nest in, a special bed for y/n especially, and insisted on making homemade feed to “improve egg production”; technoblade suspected it was all mainly to continue pampering the favored chicken.
“c’mon, tech,” tommy whined, the chicken cradled contentedly in his arms. “it’s freezing out there!”
“i live in the tundra, tommy,” the hybrid grumbled plainly.
“it’s supposed to be the start of a blizzard tonight,” tommy sighed. “c’mon, tech, please.”
techno looked to the chicken again, who had her eyes closed peacefully, embracing the warmth tommy brought. i’m going to regret this, he thought over the voices’ complaints. technoblade opened the door wider.
“fine. but just this once.”
tommy cheered, racing into the house and toward his room with the chicken.
technoblade sighed again as he closed his door. “when did i get soft?”
...
the storm was just starting to pick up outside when technoblade settled with his book. but even after ten minutes, he couldn’t quite seem to focus. the voices filled his senses with useless thoughts, and so instead he took to watching the snow float past his window.
‘i wonder if she’s alright.’ ‘do you think she’s made it out of the nether yet?’ ‘l’manburg’s too stupid to find her.’ ‘at least we have tommy back.’ he listened to the incessant droning with little consideration, until the many voices formed together to warn, ‘behind you.’
he immediately turned around, his hand instinctively reaching for the axe he had leaned next to him, only to be greeted with the sight of the favored chicken behind him. she clucked quietly at him.
“you’re all useless,” he muttered to his mind, settling back into his chair with a huff. she clucked again at him to draw his gaze. he shook his head at the animal.
“i’ve gone soft, haven’t i?” he questioned uselessly. the chicken’s head twitched into an inquisitive tilt. techno would’ve laughed had he not been so tired. he sighed out, reaching his open palm toward the chicken. she immediately pattered forward and brushed her feathery neck to his warm hand with a sound cluck.
in the strangest way possible, techno could understand why tommy had likened this chicken to y/n. it was oddly calm for a chicken, not frightened by any of the household men but also not completely unbothered by them. if she had been unbothered, technoblade imagined she would have left tommy’s embrace soon after he picked her up.
“you’re a weird little chick,” he spoke aloud again. the chicken abandoned his hand to push against his clothed leg. “you should be running from me right now. i like chicken soup.” she just clucked again, settling decidedly against his leg. techno sighed again before finally picking up his book. and for some odd reason, he was finally focused enough to read.
...
“he’s still with the chicken, huh?” philza chuckled when he saw tommy chasing around the sweet chick as she pecked at some of the scattered feed.
technoblade just shrugged. “he’s found a weird outlet for missing neutral, i think.”
“yeah,” phil laughed out. “oh, um, speaking of which..” techno watched as phil fished something out of his pocket. after a moment he presented an emerald ring. it wasn’t poorly crafted by any means, but it was most definitely a first trial. “a crow came back with this.” techno connected the dots and tried to ignore the race of his heart on top of the voices growing in volume. “judging i sent them out about a week ago.. she can’t be more than a week or two out now.”
‘she’s close.’ ‘she’s close!’ ‘god, i can’t wait to see her smile.’ ‘i hope her journey was safe.’ ‘is safe. don’t get too ambitious.’ ‘i hope she’s excited to see you.’ ‘i imagine she’s excited to see anyone at this rate.’ ‘i hope she gets here soon.’
philza, who always had a sixth sense for when the voices were meddling in his son’s mind, placed a grounding hand on technoblade’s shoulder. “she’ll be here soon enough, mate.” he turned his gaze and techno followed it to watch as tommy scooped the chicken up in his arms with a laugh. “we’re just playing the waiting game now.”
…
“dinner’s ready when you two are!” philza called out before returning to the warm interior of his house. tommy and technoblade shared a look and put down their gardening tools.
“race you in!” tommy yelled out, scooping up his favored chicken and running to the home. technoblade just sighed before walking after him.
when he entered the warm house, the chicken was picking at a small bowl left for her by the door. when technoblade turned his unamused eyes up, philza just shrugged at him.
“chickens have to eat, too.”
“sure,” technoblade grumbled in response, taking a seat at the table as philza set his plate in front of him. they ate with minimal chatter for a few moments before tommy spoke up.
“where do you think y/n is right now?” he inquired, gaze training on his warm plate.
philza and technoblade shared a look. technoblade raised his eyebrows at his father and philza cleared his throat, offering, “if we’re lucky, she’s headed here.”
tommy looked up. “you think so?”
“her safest option is here,” philza continued with a shrug. “she can’t go to l’manburg without risking a hell of a lot, she’s suicidal if she goes to dream, even eret’s is a risky option with ghostbur being there. l’manburg tends to stay away from here.”
“for good reason,” technoblade interjected.
philza chuckled, “yeah.” he shrugged as he loaded his fork with more food. “the only other logical place for her to go is..” he shook his head, “to foolish.”
tommy’s hopeful look faltered. “right. i forgot they knew each other.”
there was a moment of silence as philza and technoblade scrambled for a comforting word.
“she’ll come,” technoblade offered up. tommy’s head snapped up to him. he just shrugged at the younger boy. “she will.”
tommy’s shoulders seemed to relax. “yeah. yeah, she will.”
...
“y/n? y/n!”
though the call for the chicken was now a begrudging frequent in his life, it still made technoblade freeze every time. but the voices were quick to remind him of the damned feathery creature and techno just sighed.
“tommy, how many times do i have to-”
but when he rounded the corner, all of the breath left his lungs. he couldn’t even think to be snarky or teasing or anything he usually was in her presence. because holy shit, she was actually here.
y/n had tommy wrapped securely in her arms, face alight with pure joy and relief as her closed eyes fell into tommy’s chest. and then those beautiful e/c eyes were open and on him and he had never felt warmer in the freezing tundra.
when tommy pulled off of her he immediately sensed the two’s eyes locked and let out a quiet, “i’ll get some cocoa started. get your ears ready, ‘cause i have some things to tell you, woman.”
she gave him a smile, turning from techno for just a moment. “i can’t wait.” she watched as tommy scampered off before turning back to the hybrid. he couldn’t even find the words to say to express his relief. the voices were dead silent. “i would’ve been back sooner, but i had to stop and trade for warmer clothes.”
‘been back’ one of the voices helpfully repeated. as if this place were like a second home to her.
“you don’t have to justify your timing to me,” was all he could say, shaking his head as his body naturally leaned toward her. he caught himself in a step and scooped her into his arms before either of them could say anything else. she laughed out as her feet left the ground, wrapping her arms around the strong man. “’m glad you’re safe.”
“me too,” she muttered into his chest.

After you raided him, he thanked you and after he finished his stream he DMed you asking if you wanted to colab with him and you answered with a 'yes' and that's how you guys met online and became friends online and in real life after learning you two have the same area code.

- You are basically Awesamdude's daughter. One day you were exploring different areas on the SMP until you came across a portal in the Nether which led you to a desert like area which had many ancient Egypt like builds. Then you noticed a figure running around opening chests and as you came closer you saw the person was like a half-totem half-shark person. He seemed to notice you and introduced himself to you and you did the same. He basically showed you around the place and told each other about yourselves and eventually became friends.
The Village That Went Mad:-

- You were a traveler and happened to stumble upon the village. Robin basically was the first to spot you and brought you to town to meet the Mayor Jimmy. Cat (Catboy! Corpse) offered to show you around town and you two basically became very good friends in less than two hours.
Cornelius:
- You and Cornelius were very good friends when you two were kids. You guys are still very inseparable and some see you two as siblings even though you two aren't but happen to be really good friends!
The Lost City Of Mizu:-
Ranbob:
- You met Ranbob after the incidents that took place in Mizu. He wasn't really talkative when you first met him but learned that there wasn't much oxygen left for him to live here so you offered to take him back home with you which he reluctantly agreed after a few seconds of thinking. He really wasn't used to being on the surface but knew eventually he would get used to it.
Charles:
- Your brother, Benjamin or Benji introduced you to Charles and the rest of his friends. You were basically the same age as Charles but a month younger. You and Charles hit it off really quick and became good friends. Benjamin was secretly shipping you guys along with Isaac and Cletus.
Isaac:
- You two met around town. He was basically carrying a huge stack of books from the library and accidentally bumped into you which resulted him dropping the books. You apologized profusely as you helped him pick up the books and thankfully he wasn't mad and apologized for not looking. Surely you helped him carry the books back home and got to know each other more.

The Masquerade:-
Ranbutler:
- You two met at the Masquerade Sir Billiam III hosted! You were technically the youngest person to attend the Masquerade but of course you weren't younger than 16 or older than 17. Rather than talking to the other guests you would make your way and talk to Ranbutler. He was shocked at first when you talked to him but he enjoyed talking to you. You also may or may not have paid Sir Billiam a good amount of money so Ranbutler wouldn't work for him anymore and technically he was happy about this.
James:
- Like Ranbutler you two met at Sir Billiam III's Masquerade Party. You basically felt bad for James when Billiam asked about his wife who basically divorced him and left with her family. You decided to start a conversation with him hoping that it would make him a bit happy here. You told him a few jokes which would make him chuckle or maybe make him laugh a bit. He opened up to you a bit more which basically made you happy.

The Wild West:-
John John:
- You were technically Mason's adoptive sister. You ran away from home since you despised your brother and his friends for being bandits plus your parents could care less about you. You came across this town and thought about staying here for the night before continuing on your journey. You came into the bar to just get a drink but of course nothing alcoholic. You were greeted by the bartender who introduced himself to be John John. You two talked most of the night since no one around at the bar plus helped you sleep in the inn. You met a few people at the town and just decided to stay here.
Mason:
- Your brother, Flint Michigan aka Connor introduced you to Mason and also to Jack Kanoff. You weren't really a huge fan of your brother's job by being a bandit. Mason was basically two months older than you and you two made small talk and sometimes he would be a flirt and in return you would be flustered and hit his arm to shut him up. You would receive a smirk from him which you really want to wipe it off his face.

The Haunted Mansion:-
Ash:
- You two met at school since you guys both have most of the same classes together. You two were basically best of friends. You were later introduced to his twin brother Zachary who was surprisingly taller than Ash.
Zachary:
- You two met for the first time at the AirBNB that your friend Connor invited you to. You really not sure if you wanted to go at first but Connor said there were two boys who were the same age as you so you gave in. When you knocked on the door of the AirBNB you were first greeted by a boy who seemed to be freakishly taller than you open the door. He introduced himself to be Zachary. You even met his younger twin, Ash who was basically a few inches shorter than Zachary.
The Pit:-
Ran:
- You two basically met at the Gladiator event that Porkius VII held. You were basically down at the area were everyone were waiting to fight against each other. You saw a few people talking to each other except one person who basically looked like an enderman but with green eyes. You were a bit nervous to talk to him but you went up anyways to strike a conversation with him. He didn't talk much but he did listen to you and would smile every once in a few minute or so.
Jackie:
- You were Genevieve's little sister who also joined the Gladiator event. You didn't talk to anyone besides your sister and when your name was called up for the semi-finals you fought against Jackie in which you ended up losing to. Jackie felt bad for injuring you so he picked you up and went back to the others and patched you up. You thanked him afterwards and wished him good luck in the finals.

The Masquerade:-
Ranbutler:
- Ranbutler was walking around town alone thinking about asking you out.
- He came across a flower shop and decided to buy you flowers which happened to be your (Favorite Flowers).
- After that, he directly went towards your place and knocked on the door as he waited for you to come and hid the flowers behind his back.
- You opened the door to see it was Ranbutler and before you could say anything he brought out the bouquet of your favorite flowers and was feeling very shy as he tried to say something while stuttering a bit.
- "I-I just w-wanted to let you know that I... um... I like you a lot and I was wondering if you w-wanted to go on a d-date with m-me?"
- You stood there a bit shocked and blushing at his confession but you accepted it.
- "Of course! I like you a lot too!"
James:
- James decides to take you on a boat trip at a lake nearby his home.
- James was awed by your beauty and he knew that you were the one for him.
- He docked the boat nearby and took your hand to help you get off safely and took you to a special place where he had prepared picnic for you two.
- You were basically awed by this and he took a deep breath and turned to look at you.
- "Be my girlfriend?"
- You looked at him with blush appearing on your face but you nodded.
- "Of course!"
The Wild West:-
John John:
- John wasn't really sure where you would like to go but took you to the campsite.
- To be honest you didn't care where John took you at this point but you really loved the campsite area since you could see the stars really well from here.
- You two would sometimes talk amongst yourselves and point at the different constellations and stars
- Gradually you were getting a bit sleepy which John noticed and let you rest your head on his shoulder.
- "I love you John..."
- He heard you mumble in your sleep as a blush crept up his face as he smiled and gave you a peck on your forehead.
- "I love you too Y/N"
Mason:
- Isn't it already obvious?
- This man is a smooth MF

Ash:
- You were opening your locker and at the exact time a note fell out of it.
- You picked it up to see that Ash wanted to meet you after school outside the campus where the bench was.
- You didn't question it and just went along with the school day as it went by fast.
- After all that you went outside to meet Zachary only to see him holding out a bouquet of Y/F/F in front of you.
- "WillyoupleasegooutwithmecauseIlikeyoualotandit'sfineifyoudon't!"
- It took you a bit too process what he just said but you smiled as you took the flowers.
- "Sure Ash! Also don't worry I like you too!"
Zachary:
- You were just walking into school as you went towards your lockers but were stopped by a some random guy.
- He was constantly pestering you like everyday to go out with him but you would refuse.
- You tried to get rid of him but he was being way too persistent and if things got any better Zachary came around just in time and told the guy to buzz off and stuff and said that I am his girlfriend.
- With that the guy left which still left me in shock and a slightly blushing face and in which I started to question the girlfriend part which also kind of made him blush at it as well.
- "I mean- If only you want to be that is... I really like you."
- You were in shock and after a few seconds you nodded.
- "S-sure. I r-really l-like you too."
The Pit:-
Ran:
- You two were both walking around the Subbin Empire as you were both visiting your Older Twin brother, Jackie.
- You two decided to sit down on a bench as you two talked.
- I know for a fact that Ran isn't much for conversations but he seemed to open up to me a lot.
- Tho he looked like he was also thinking of something and I asked him if he was okay which he sat still as he looked at his lap for a few before he turned to look at me.
- "I know that I am not really a romantic type of person but... I was just wondering if you wanted to go out with me sometime...? I understand if you don't want to."
- At this point you were surprised by the confession since you really didn't expect that from Ran but you nodded.
- "Sure Ran. I would like that and I like you too."
Jackie:
- You were waiting for Jackie at a cafe in the Subbin Empire and he was a new general and a good one at that so that's one of the reasons he hasn't been able to hangout with you as much.
- After a while you saw him running towards you and stopped for a breath as he slowly sat down.
- You asked him if he was fine and all and he nodded saying that he had some things to take care off and apologized for being late but you said it was fine with a smile.
- You two ordered and chatted amongst yourselves until he said something you really couldn't believe.
- "I will be honest. You are really funny and pretty. I really like you a lot."
- You were a blushing mess and Jackie realized what he just said out loud and started to apologize for that but you stopped him.
- "I-It's alright Jackie. I-I really like you too."
