Interesting information to add to the theory that the Dark Brotherhood originated as an offshoot of the Morag Tong...

In ESO, when Naryu gives you her blade during the quest line about the Maulborn, you get a piece of the Night Mother’s Embrace set.

This is interesting, as the Night Mother is an important aspect of the Brotherhood and is essentially the founder of its origins. However, Naryu is a member of the Tong, which worships Mephala. There is also much speculation that the “Night Mother” is a name of Mephala, the patron Daedric Prince of the Tong. This just further proves the theory that Mephala is, or at least an aspect of her is, the Night Mother. This goes along nicely with the theory that the Brotherhood is a splinter group of the Tong.

Also... I really want Fudgemuppet to see this to know what they think of this...
