"Yuri gave a lonely child a teddy bear once, then spent years avoiding what he became. After the Chunin Exams leave Suna vulnerable and Gaara improbably becomes Kazekage, her alchemy kekkei genkai and sealing expertise make her essential to the village's survival - which means working closely with the boy who never forgot her kindness. Rebuilding a desert village and navigating intelligence missions is complicated enough without confronting a shared past neither of them knows how to talk about."
My process of making a fake Naruto Fuuinjutsu scroll. The last photo is the finished product. The center Kanji is for Judgement, the right is Life, bottom is Death. This took 35 min total. Just kinda bought a cheap tiny wall scroll.
The information presented in this post has been checked and revised. My aim is not to hate or to discredit any of the characters mentioned. Please read about me for further information.
This post will contain evidence in picture format directly from the manga Naruto (1999 - 2014) created by Masashi Kishimoto and published by Shueisha in 1999. I will also use information from the official databooks of Naruto.
In this informative post will explain all the jutsu that Sakura Haruno has used in canon, meaning this will only include techniques that the author of the manga and the novels, illustrated by Kishimoto, have given her.
I originally wrote this post for Sakura Week on Twitter.
Ino’s jutsu arsenal (with 14 techniques)
Hinata’s jutsu arsenal (with 10 techniques)
Me, after over a year of not being in the Naruto fandom: What if I write a short one shot, something where I don’t have to think too much, just to get used to the fandom again
Me, today: Let’s dissect every use of Fuuinjutsu in the show ever and try to understand the mechanics and how it works!
Konoha Hundred Leaf Collection #51 - A ruined country's crest handed down to the Village Hidden in the Leaves
Konoha Hundred Leaf Collection #51 - A ruined country's crest handed down to the Village Hidden in the Leaves (p. 36, Naruto Databook 4 "Jin no Sho")
The Village Hidden in the Whirlpools that was decimated in the world of war. That village's mark has been etched into the back of the Konoha Chuunin vest. The administration that led the Village Hidden in the Whirlpools, the "Uzumaki Clan", were distant blood relatives of the Senju Clan, and the two villages built friendly relations by offers of Sealing Techniques and such since ancient times.
[Bottom Right, panel of Kushina]
Kushina: "I was chosen as the second Jinchuuriki of the Ninetails.
Honestly speaking, I was brought to Konoha for the purpose of becoming the Ninetails' Jinchuuriki… from the Land of Whirlpools that is."
[Left: Land of Fire] [Right: Land of Whirlpools]
← A clan possessing high-grade "Sealing Techniques (Fuuinjutsu)" and high "Vitality".
[Top Right, panel of the chuunin vest]
"Even now, the mark is used within Konoha as a sign of good relations."
↑ The pattern that is on the back of a Chuunin vest, is a sign of good relations with the Uzumaki Clan.
[Bottom left panel]
↑ As a consequence of possessing high-level Sealing Techniques, they were targeted by other villages, and were decimated.

I just saw all the old messages I got in my inbox. Thank you for still reaching out. Sorry for not replying, my headspace is occupied elsewhere nowadays. I'll see what I can respond to.
I think there's already an existing translation of this page somewhere. I'll link it later.

“During the Chūnin Exams, chūnin and jōnin were sealed inside scrolls. If the genin opened the scrolls before being allowed to do so, the chūnin and jōnin would knock them out, failing them in the exam”
Uhhhhhhhhhhh what? no??? First, the moment Sasuke sees the seals inside the scroll he says it’s a Summoning (Kuchiyose no jutsu!) so that’s that.
Second, one of the things Orochimaru does in the forest of death is eat his earth scroll and burns team 7′s heaven scroll, so by that logic that would be two poor chunin/jounin dead because of the exams?? And I get that shinobi are tools and all that but this just seems like an awfully innefective way to keep your military based society strong to me.
And if there’s a person in each scroll why does only Iruka appear in the tower?????? and technically, how does onnly one person appear per two scrolls when it’s showed that if you open a single scroll someone appears, is Iruka the only one doing this? is it a proximity thing?
