SAN JOSE, CA Who remembers Harry Rodriquez? 🤷🏽‍♀️ August Boeger, Mt. Pleasant, Oak Grove? I was blessed with a visit from his little sister, mom and grandmother at my Barnes & Nobles book signing. I have not seen them in over 20 years. This visit blessed my life. Harry used to make me “look out” for his sister. His mother fed and housed me more times than I can remember. His grandmother always made me feel like family... and she’s about to he 90 years old, still driving and still as sharp as a knife. #speechless #gateful As much time as I spent with their family, they never knew what was going on in the background of my life. This goes to show you, kids can be wearing a mask to fiercely guard the dysfunction going on in their lives. They just want to be “normal”. The best part about finally telling my story was making her comfortable enough to tell me hers! ❤️💙 WOW!
