My personal Team Hot Wheels headcanons: Part 2
When Wyatt and Brandon were 5 or 6 years old, Wyatt unknowingly kidnapped a baby girl that he saw at the park because he thought that she was abandoned. He then told Brandon that he was going to take the baby home so that he could have a little sister and teach her how to do cool stunts. Luckily, Brandon was able to convince Wyatt to bring her back to her parents so that he wouldn't get arrested for kidnapping and child endangerment (not like he actually would, since they were only little kids, but still).
Rhett used to get easily stressed out like his mom, to the point where it almost crippled part of his life. One day, their family therapist recommended that they try New Age methods for stress management (meditation, crystal therapy, Tai Chi, etc.). This has actually worked wonders with Rhett, and life has become more easier for him ever since. His mom, on the other hand...
Gage and Wyatt's beef first began in elementary school when they both participated in a talent show. Gage ended up winning first place for his performance of Whiplash by Metallica on his electric guitar. This made Wyatt jealous, causing him to have a bit of a grudge towards Gage. However, the actual beef between them didn't start until Wyatt tried to fight Gage in the boy's bathroom during lunch. Neither of them ended up winning, and they've been plotting a rematch ever since.
Brandon was adopted by Tony Stark and James Rhodes (yes, his adoptive parents are Iron Man and War Machine) after his birth parents left him at the hospital where he was born while he was in the NICU. Tony and James' work with engineering technology is what ignited Brandon's interest in robotics.
