GENMATH / Finished the painting! Decided to let it become quite surreal with the fused mouth thing going on there. Painted most of the day and evening. Made a brief write up about the Golden Ratio before watching American Gods.
The subject of the portrait is a Kalinga Igorot (an ethnic group in the Philippines) woman. The painting was inspired by social issues in the Philippines involving the indigenous people, specifically the ones regarding the violation of their ancestral lands, and how I’ve been feeling lately. Also, I used acrylic paints.
Anyway, time to sleep. Heh. I have to break this habit of sleeping really early.

I love how when I understand something for general math, become so focused on answering the equation and then end up wrong because I didn't register that I accidentally put a negative or didn't multiply things.
