Two anti-trans organisations listed as 'hate groups' by civil rights charity

Trans people have already been warning about this from the start but: Genspect presents itself as a moderate and neutral organization. It is not. Their goal is for trans people at all ages to not have any healthcare (ideally to not exist at all).

They are trying to use the talking point of trans people under age 25 being too immature to have any autonomy to get their foot in the door and convince policymakers to support anti-trans legislation with the goal of eventually escalating this to all trans people. It's all done in bad faith.

Genspect: The U.K. group promises a healthy approach to sex and gender. Its leaked chats, though, show transphobia runs rampant.

Leaked chat logs from a community Discord server operated by the gender-critical organization Genspect show that the group leverages fears about transgender youth to organize opposition to transitioning for all adults.  The chats reveal people around the organization using radical language, as well as coordinating with right-wing legislative and political efforts in the U.S., U.K., and across the world that have attempted to stir panic and outrage over transitioning.  Founded as an umbrella organization to “support people with gender dysphoria,” Genspect claims to be a “leading organization that offers an alternative to WPATH,” the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, which publishes trans healthcare standards. Its Discord, which is now invitation-only, paints a different picture.

Members of the Genspect chat openly speak about “groomers” and “pedophiles” affiliated with what they call the “trans cult,” a line of rhetoric plucked from the larger anti-trans movement.  “The real aggressive powers…pulling the strings in the transgender movement are the autogynephilic and pedophilic men,” one parent said. “They are seeing changes in society that suit the pursuit of their fetishes.” The fear of social contagion has been upgraded to fears about “grooming” or coercing children into being queer, a key narrative of anti-gay movements from the 70s to today.  Some of the members of the group express admiration for Gays Against Groomers and blame school officials for “grooming” children into LGBT identities.  The Anti-Defamation League identifies Gays Against Groomers as one of a number of far-right extremist groups, including Libs of TikTok and the Proud Boys, that coordinate violence against the LGBT community.

Hi again after many moons…

somehow I’ve gotten new followers. I hope you are Lesbians! And it’s fine if you’re not too. Sooooo, yesterday I had the absolute privilege of attending an incredible webinar put on by #genspect an organization out of the UK working to educate and support detransition and desister people, their families and communities. I can’t think of a more appropriate organization to exist these days with the gender soup and koolaid being forced down our throats everywhere we turn. I would love to talk with anyone interested in this subject and connect women (and men) with known resources. Wow! The whole thing was mind blowing. I saw and heard from two Lesbians I had met previously, and listened to the stories of several other Lesbians/women and even one man who has detransitioned. I’d never heard a personal story about a man detransitioning and have been extremely curious about it. Apparently yesterday was #detransawarenessday Detrans Awareness Day. I wonder why no one knows about that and why we’re constantly hit over the head with the other awareness day…Anyhooo…

If you or someone you know and care about is actually a woman and (probably) a Lesbian-especially a butch Lesbian but has been convinced they are a trans man, I would love to tell you more and assist in any way I can.
