anti fat acceptance, anti haes.Lose that weight! Get Healthy! Quit whining about gentics being the cause. Fatphobia is not real! (Excluding people who have mental disorders/disability)
people are so weird about diabetes like. oh no, the metabolic disorder is doing the thing metabolic disorders do and impacting weight. surely this means people with such an illness are gluttonous pigs who dont deserve sympathy.
that is definitely the take away. totally. yep. no flaws in reasoning there. people who mock diabetic people definitely aren't assholes who need to get over themselves. it would be such a shame if skinny and abled people became more humble about physical health! /s
Ok, I am going to assume that you are referring to people with type 2 diabetes, because that is still the more common one.
Sympathy has nothing to do with people who t2 diabetic, because unlike t1 diabetics once they get their a1c and blood sugar under control they could get to the point of not having to use metformin or insulin.
It is not reversed per say, but more of not needing medication due to the changes that was made in the daily life.
Which means those people who do have t2 diabetes can in a way return to a life with some normalcy, and that is having a more diabetic friendly diet along with getting/staying active.
So, the diet plan for them would be low carb diet, because it is the carbs that causes the sugar spikes. It is not just sweets alone, and luckily there are many alternative to live comfortably with a low carb diet now.
In order to get moving and to being active many people can:
Walk, run, use a mini exercise bike(can do arms on that), resistance bands, bed exercises, chair exercises, etc,. (you get the picture hopefully)
There is very little excuses to why someone who is t2 to be still having difficulty, and if they don't change their ways other complications can come their way. Such as slow healing, getting sick often, ulcers, possible site problems, etc.
Here are a couple of articles:
If you have diabetes, youāre more likely to have slow-healing or chronic wounds. Learn how to watch for healing problems and encourage wound
Itās possible to maintain healthy blood sugar with T2D. But it takes constant management.
Being overweight/obese can make diabetes difficult to deal with, because it can cause insulin resistance due to the visceral fat on the body. As stated in this medical article:
The accumulation of an excessive amount of body fat can cause type 2 diabetes, and the risk of type 2 diabetes increases linearly with an in
Does it happen with every diabetic who is overweight/obese?
No, it can be a slim chance, but there is not a null to this chronic illness. Which if it runs in your family, then the chances are higher due to your genetics on that.
Point is that this illness should be taken seriously. Yes, it is good to have friends, family, and support group help keep them accountable or be cheered on. But regardless they have to put in the work to get to the point of not being in danger of the risk factors that comes with this chronic illness.
Now from my view point on them deserving sympathy? I would say no, because sympathy is not going to do the work that they need to do in order to be healthy. They have to be determined to change, and if they aren't...that is the consequences to their own choices.
Deuces āļøand hope you have the day you deserve.
TW this post contains a screenshot, and it is more to debate since I feel like maybe I am to old to understand this I guess...?
This OP is all over the place on what they wanted to say...
So, what is it that they are complaining about?
My questions:
-Regards to being treated like woman in a delicate manner?
-->Did this only referred to fat women in said statement?
-Fat women being sexualized being a plus or bad? (bc they stated desexualized)
-Are only fat women multidimensional?
-Intersectionality?
-->What does this have to do with the statement made?
This statement just confuses me, and I feel like I lost brain cells.
Maybe someone else may know what exactly is going on...?
Gonna put a TW just for the sensitives out there. lol
SS of one ask ^
SS if second ask^
Look I get that I am pretty much anti fat movement's and haes, but guys y'all are starting to go on a tangent here. I get that those people in those movements are doing things that is not agreeable, but making a whole tangent without a legitimate question is starting to get on my nerves.
These asks are pretty much making statements, and if y'all feel that way then make your own blog and post it. (whether same person or not dc!)
Like this here is a whole ass post with each ask. lol
So, please kindly do this on your own blog. Make another account or something, because I am not going to respond anymore after this. Especially since this feels like Deja Vu on another post I did an ask on, because the font and breaks are eerily similar.
It seems every time I do a reblog on someone's post and get block so does the post...either way I guess what I had to say triggered op. š
So, TW bc this is something that was so heinous that I got blocked for it. lol
Look darlin there are many solutions to this, and not to mention the web availability of different stores online that provide plus size clothing options.
As for joining in someone's wedding where they are choosing a style. Well either you have the money to get a custom/get alterations done on a dress or suite, and if you don't then you don't. This is the bride and groom's special day, and they usually have a vision of how they want it to be. If you can't fit in that vision then be a guest on their joyous day, because again this is their day not the guests day.
As for surfing in general from what I have looked up there is no size limit, and can be done in just a regular swimsuit.

As stated in the article they recommend sea spray swimsuits for plus sizes, but you can also look on amazon as well for plus size swimsuits.

Now as for scuba diving there is no weight limit to that, but you do have to be fit to handle the equipment that comes with diving. Along with passing the certification needed to being able to dive. (SS below & link)

Found a site where they did a survey of the best plus size wet suits:

Nothing really stopping you here. There is literally no exclusions, and all that was needed was research.
And if all of this still makes you upset and feel excluded, then you should figure out what the actual problem is.
Happy hunting and hope the links help you, and if not. All righty then.
*reblogging everything exactly and tags. Clearly ignorance on the fire is pretty on point with the ignorance and I guess wanting to set any opinion on fire. loools (ik terrible pun on my part)
Thinking about how fat people are excluded from so many parts of life just because we can't dress the part. How many fat people are qualified interviewees but have to wear a shirt that's a size and a half too small so they look like they don't care about their appearance. How many fat people get invited to be part of a wedding party but the dress only comes in sizes 00-10. How many fat people might want to do sports like scuba or surfing and the only option even for beginners is a custom wetsuit. "Fat people don't do this for some reason" maybe we can't.
Look darlin there are many solutions to this, and not to mention the web availability of different stores online that provide plus size clothing options.

TFW: Lots of cussing in this one along with me crashing out yet again.
IT'S LITERALLY A FUCKING MEDICAL TERM!
Why just oh fucking why do you people have this fucking mentality?!
This word is used to diagnosis a person who is past the overweight mark and that is all.
If you have such a strong emotion over this word than I'm afraid you are worried about the wrong fucking thing. What should be worrying is what comes with being obese, because a slew of issues comes from being so extremely overweight. Which includes getting cancer and fucking dying!
Why the fuck does everything medical now a days have to include how you fucking feel?
It sucks if you are dealing with medical issues, but if there is a solution to your problem that the medical professionals are recommending. Then most likely it wouldn't hurt to follow it, and no I am not saying that you shouldn't get a second opinion.
Yes! I know that there is medical issues when it comes to being diagnosed being overweight/obese, but if multiple doctors are telling you the same damn thing. Then most likely it is you, and your fucking habits being the fucking problem!
Go to a fucking shrink if you feel that strongly, because clearly you need help mentally.
This shit is getting old with everyone on feelings about a fucking word. Not an action but a word that has nothing to do with emotions, and is just a description of the health of one's body. Meanwhile people out here getting emotional over being fat essentially. (Totally happy being fat my ass!)
Get Healthy! Change Your Lifestyle! Get the fucking help you fucking need!
*will be posting in usual tags.
**Just wow on the deletion, but hey I guess someone is emotional over a statement that was shitted on. šš¼āāļø
i just personally dont think we can really reclaim āob*seā any more than like. the r slur. i think everyone needs to put that one in the box of words that theres literally no good reason to use. but thats just me i guess

I think the hatred of people who are overweight (and/)or disabled stems from the fact that it can happen to anyone at any time, for a variety of reasons, and that valid fear turns into invalid rage.
Ok just trying to understand.
1. You think that people are hated because they are overweight? -or- Hatred of disabled people as well?
2. Becoming overweight can happen to anyone. -or- disability can happen to anyone?
3. Which in turn makes the people who in past fear these situations and therefore their rage is validated?
Just want to make sure of things...
For #1 & #2- You are indeed correct a disability can occur at any stage of life whether genetically or through an outside force/circumstance. Which should not even embark any anger or hatred unless the cause was due to an accident that could have been prevented. Ex., drinking and driving-just don't, safety protocols in work fields-keeping with osha, etc.
Now as for becoming overweight. That is depending on circumstances and usually the only hatred that is there is with ones self, because realistically being overweight is something that you can change and is not a disability. Even when you become obese which again you can change that, and tbh there is no hatred unless you spread false information on being overweight/obese being healthy.
There are too many articles in medical journals that state otherwise.
For #3- I am not to sure what you are referring to?
Maybe people who are overweight fearing of judgement from others in society, and being valid in showing rage towards to the judgmental person/people/crowd?
Just really curious here, but I doubt you will respond.
Saw this and all of the nostalgia came back to trying to dance this music video version of NSYNC.
These ladies did it justice especially since the lady in the hat did the moves without moving her head to much like the boy group did!
Love this song and will keep listening to it like the lil teenager I was. lol
Anti HAES anon salutes you for standing strong against the āfat positivityā bs! As a chubby person at 150-160 lbs, thereās nothing positive about being fat!
Man, these other anons donāt understand the consequences of being too overweight/obese.
I donāt affiliate myself with ppl who lump fat positivity w/ the og body positivity (amputees &/or scarred) & other more appropriate movements (lgbt, human rights, racism). Hello? Itās a medical issue where the health sources donāt fuck around with the facts!
Sure, some claim that fatphobia originated from women allegedly fighting back against shallow men who only prefer thin women. And supposedly fighting back the patriarchy on X/Twitter.
But these days I only see the obese crowds refusing to change themselves for the better. Not helped by the fact that some accounts showed their friends & family enabling such nasty behavior. Sigh* these āfeedeeā & fat fetish accounts are so pitiful, delusional, disgusting & concerning⦠How these ppl are still alive at 300 to even 1000 lbs baffles me!
Call me cruel but if they refuse to change their lifestyle, then itās natural selection to let them die at this point. If they refuse to genuinely change themselves.
Canāt fit that clothing or squeeze in the narrow hallway? Too fucking bad!
Actually makes me wanna lose weight faster! And the diet tweaks do in fact work! Iāve cut out soda w/ water & tea since early college aka aināt touching the former anymore! Since late 2025/early 2026 Iām able to fit 1-2 sizes down depending on the brand.
Could not agree more with all of your statements, and ofc the majority of them will still state that they are healthy. Along with that we are morally judging them or some shit like that. lol
Also, congrats on getting 1-2 sizes down. I bet you feel better and clothes fit more comfy.
Hope you get more achievements towards your goals, and never stop trying! Much kudos to you darlin!
*will put this under fatphobia as per usual and anti haes
This is another TW post on the gainer @bramblesqrl
Had this sent to me a while ago, and now will be sharing my thoughts on it.
As you see below V the screen shots:
(NGL this shit got me fucking triggered!)
What is even the fucking point in all of this?
Like if you are on the high scale of getting a chronic illness due to it being prominent in your family.
Just why?
Why the fuck are you going to be on the fast track to get it?
If your sexuality/kinks get you sick and put your life in danger; then it is time to either get the help you need to figure out why you need to do this. Whether that is therapy or talking to someone who is going to be blunt and real with you, because at the end of the day self harm is not a good thing to do/happen.
Also, @bramblesqrl you should be the last fucking person to be giving advice when it comes to health!
You are literally gaining to become disabled, so that you can be waited on hand and foot!
I do not have all of the words to express how pissed I am that you are existing on this platform! For the fact that you are not only giving advice but have the audacity to be asking for money for a motorized scooter! (Which got sent a link to that shit as well!)
Literally stretching the truth that it is only due to an "accident" for why you are walking with a cane, and that you desperately want to have a normal life with your family.
Which makes me believe that pretty much your partner either is giving in to your feedee ways, or pretty much that fool is a fucking feeder. (Wow talk about a match made in heaven!ššš)
Y'all people disgust me, because again giving health advice is not something you should do you sick fuck!
Literally giving advice to "beat" the progress on diabetes with medication.
Like no! That shit does not prevent any of the havocs that diabetes can do to your fucking body!
I have seen what it can up front and personally from my own family members who have developed cancer, loss of body parts, skin issues, infections, etc!
It is not something to fuck with!
I hope that this individual gets what is coming to them, and that is all I am gonna say on this. (for now until I get sent more shit)
Also:
You are fucking extra for this shit and really should fucking listen to your family at the fucking least. Since they seem to give a fuck about your well being, but hey eat yourself to death I guess!
