Development of the Ghost Brothers comic is coming along very well. In fact, I'm happy to announce that I want to start posting the pilot episode! It still has a final round of editing to go, so I will only be posting it on Patreon (Link) until those edits are done, starting Sunday of next week! To the ghost! Brothers, how are you guys doing? It must be difficult watching this crap go down.
"Difficult is an understatement, pal... Believe me when I say neither of us are doing well right now. Y'know, it's,... it's funny if you think about it, honestly. All they've got is each other but they just can't stop fighting. I guess nothin' changed. "Still, I'd strangle 'em both if I could..."
Because it's been in my head and I need to spread it around. DC X DP prompt because Suffering.
What if, instead of Danny being shunted into Gotham during Current Era, Danny gets shunted backwards to the equivalent of the 1980's.
What if, Danny finds and befriends Jason's ghost.
For years, they're friends.
For years, Danny has managed to stay off the Meta Radar because he's both Tired of caping, AND he's terrified that he's going to Butterfly Wing the timeline, even if this isn't really his timeline.
But then, one night, Jason's spirit starts to wail. He starts to heave and scream for help. Danny tries to ghost out for the first time in ages, but he's been de-powered for so long, so unpracticed in using his skills, there's next to nothing he can do.
And Jason, his closest friend in a city that isn't his, in a time he'd barely be a toddler in, is ripped away.
With nothing more then a streak of ectoplasm and a set of scratches across the wall, where his ghostly fingers tried to find purchase.
Meanwhile, in the Lazarus Pitts....
They hunting ghosts or something, idk what kids these days do for fun.
