Loch Ness

Had a very pleasant day today. We went to Loch Ness and drove round the lake. We got home at about 8ish and just chilled, mostly...

I came back to our accommodation after a dog walk to find Jess and mum screaming blue murder saying they've been attacked by the largest spiders ever. They get me to look all under the furniture for these spiders but I didn't find anything. I am starting to believe they had a joint hallucination.

Gingered plum kuchen as the 57th bake from the 2016 Great British Bakeoff cookbook. Fast mix together, then decorate with the plums. The dough is quite characteristic, I liked how the plums compensated the flavor.
