people need to be less weird towards butch transfems, intersex transfems, masculine transfems, gnc transfems, transfems who dont ID as women, transfems with short hair, transfems who want to have (or keep) their muscles, transfems who want to have (or keep) their beard, transfems who want to be (or stay) hairy, transfems who dont (or can't) constantly smile/act soft, and any other thing people keep being weird about.
oh and stop being weird to transfems of colour with ANY presentation or label, full stop. stop forcing white femininity onto us. stop forcing white american standards onto us.
brought to you by a gnc, intersex transfem of colour, who's covered in hair and loves it!! i like to be both butch and femme but anything i do as a transfem come with such high expectations
⚠️ Do not use they/them if talking about me to others in reblogs/comments. I have neopronouns in my pinned post ⚠️
On the subject of feminine transmascs and alt fashion transmascs, to anyone who is either (or both), I LOVE YOU! Keep being yourself and loving yourself whatever that looks like, you don't owe anyone shit king
Happy pride month!!! Be vibrant!! Be safe!!!! BE EXTRA GAY!!!! 🎉🏳️⚧️🎀🏳️🌈
‘Gnc cis men’ this. ‘Gnc cis men’ that. What about gnc trans women? Are you normal about trans women who aren’t perfect models of hyper femininity? Do you still see and treat them like you would a gnc cis woman?
“gender is a game and i’m winning”
“gender is a game and i’m using cheat codes”
gender is a game and i’m ignoring the main objectives to decorate my base and romance npcs
HAPPY PRIDE !
Here are my super gay super awesome OCs pip and slip :33
prefacing this by saying that it's okay to have a 'boring' gender that conforms to binaries, and transition goals that are basically 'just some dude' or 'just some chick'. this isn't an attack on your gender if those things apply to you.
that said, it's pretty frustrating to have that forced on me as the only 'valid' way to experience gender, because I don't experience gender that way. I feel miserable when strictly conforming to 'man' or 'woman', because I'm not strictly either of those things. I think that trans allies and even other trans people don't realize how crushing it is to be something else, a mix, neither, etc. in a society that's fucking allergic to gender diversity that doesn't adhere to the boxes. and what really sucks, is that you would expect other trans people at the very least to understand what it's like to have a gender forced onto you, but the moment it comes to nonbinary and multigender people, there is no such understanding.
and then people like me have to listen to binary, monogender, and gender conforming trans people talking about us like we don't exist, are 'less trans', 'less valid' and 'less serious' than they are, because despite living a reality that transphobic cis people also sneer at, they still don't understand what it's like to be us. us, the people who suffocate within the acceptable boxes and just want to be free to live our lives like everyone else.
that's part of why being nonbinary is so tiring, I think. I wouldn't change my gender for the world, but the world would do anything to change it for me.
