True divine form of poseidon

The gods are the personification of aspects of nature, very diverse universal concepts, and in this form of Poseidon I wanted to demonstrate this.

Poseidon is the representation of the violent tide, of how the sea is unpredictable and violent, with this idea in mind I made his body with the physical characteristics of a hippocampus (mythological sea horse)

Circe x Poseidon Headcanons

So yeah, pretty much hcs based on this irreparable and the inclusion of their son Phaunos in the Nonnus' Dionysiaca:

After Circe moved to Aeaea, Helios asked Poseidon to check on her for him.

Helios already had history with Poseidon from the Titanomachy and trusted him more than Zeus or the Olympians for this.

At first, it was professional. Poseidon visited once a week, sharing a meal with Circe as her guest, and then leaving.

But as their relationship grew from xenia into something more personal, these visits became longer and more frequent.

Circe showed him hidden caves, waterfalls, and isolated parts of Aeaea outsiders would never get to see.

Poseidon was drawn to her not just because of her beauty, but for existing outside Olympian politics. He wasn't an asset and didn't have to worry about her wanting influence from their relationship.

For someone surrounded by divine rivalries, manipulation, egos, and hidden agendas, Aeaea gave him peace from it.

Circe was drawn to his bluntness and straightforwardness. His emotions always showing through made their interactions feel genuine instead of some performance needed to be played in court.

Circe shared her frustrations with Helios being overprotective and suffocating, but Poseidon, someone raised by cruelty, gave her a different lens to look through.

While Helios could be overbearing, Poseidon saw a father who genuinely worried for his daughter and wanted to know she was safe after leaving home.

Def led to Circe and Helios reconciling and him backing off.

Somewhere between island tours, shared meals, and late-night conversations, things turn romantic.

Staying one night over became two, then three, until Poseidon began staying longer than he planned.

And then, Phaunos happened.

Their relationship was amicable; two adults making conscious choices within the realities of godhood, and neither asking permanence from the other.

Phaunos wasn’t the product of scandal or accident, but the child of mutual trust, equals, and dare I say, love.

There's no forced domesticality. Poseidon remained involved in their son's life through regular visits to Aeaea, while Phaunos was raised by Circe and taught magic and different herbs.
