Dragon Prince Au: Golem Callum
A Golem is a creature from Jewish Folklore. A human-like being made from Clay or Mud.
Viren created him by enchanting clay with dark magic and using Sky primal stone along with pieces of Scale from Avizandum, who had just been killed.
Originally planned to be a giant. Due to an error, a six-year-old boy was born.
Sarai, who had just married Harrow, saw the boy as innocent and adopted him, naming him Callum after Viren planned on scarping him.
Sarai and Harrow made up the lie that Callum was Sarai's son from a previous relationship.
As a child, Callum didn't know about his origins. He always felt a connection to Xadia, however.
Afraid of activating the magic within him. All types of magic were forbidden to Callum.
Rayla Callum and Ezran discover the Dragon Prince's egg as they did in the show. A notebook is included with details about Callum's golem status.
The scene with Claudia pretty munch plays out the same.
Callum tries to tell King Harrow about the egg and ask him about what he really is.
As Viren was confronted about the egg and who he was. As a threat, Viren says that he could turn Callum back into Clay at any time.
Rayla views Callum as someone who belongs in Xaida due to the Primal stone and Dragon scale he possesses.
At the Moon Nexus, Callum tries to get Lujanne to remove the dark MagicMagic from him. It led him to view himself as evil.
Lujanne explains to him that just because The dark Magic created Callum does not make him evil.
Callum, instead of falling into a coma when he used Dark Magic to help Rayla with Pryyah. The Magic in Callum's body runs out, and he lies limp until the next morning.
Callum attempts to protect Rayla during the final battle. Viren cast a spell to return Callum to being an ordinary clay doll.
After the battle was won, since her late husband had contributed to Callum's creation, Queen Zubeia permits Ibis to revive her Callum back into a living being.
Only this time, since he was not created by dark magic. Callum assumes the appearance of a half-skywing elf and half-human.
