Nothing. Nothing at all. I didn’t even care enough to watch it.
Not what we wished for, but we can work with it.
Yeah, we didn’t get what we wanted. Not even a scene between them (although, did you see Gendry’s head snap around when Arya threatened Yara? Our boy still wants). But they’re both still alive, they’re both still single. We can so work with that.
NEVER FORGET HOW DIRTY (“king”) BRAN DID MEERA REED THE STRONG BRAVE GIRL WHO DRAGGED AND FED HIS UNGRATEFUL ASS ALL OVER THE LANDS OF ALWAYS WINTER
a thank you to all the cast and crew of Game of Thrones
Ngl with all the things I don't agree with in the finale season of got - I've enjoyed myself
the props/sets/special effects/makeup/wardrobe/acting/soundtrack/cinematography/and acting (saying it twice) have been incredible.
(I've also really enjoyed the memes)
I will be binge watching from season 1 after next week.
And as I stand back and look at s8... I'm not as disappointed as I first thought
I will miss this series
Thank you to all those who spent hours upon hours and years upon years making got come to life
Y’all were fab
Sansa asking for Northern Independence makes perfect sense. “But then the other kingdoms will want the same thing!!” No. Listen. When the King in the North went south to try and convince the dragon queen, Sansa, as Lady of Winterfell gathered the entire North together, made the necessary arrangements for the battle and the approaching winter. Since they even tried to reason with Cersei for a truce, it’s very likely that Sansa sent messengers and ravens to other houses asking for help. The calls were obviously refused. When the time came the North lost so much to the war. A great deal of it’s population and resources essential for their survival in the winter, were gone. The dragon queen and her contributions to defeating the army of the dead are a different matter, because she asked the northmen to kneel to her, she thought they owed it to her. It’s ridiculous how people think Sansa’s request to be independent was insensible, because her and the King in the North too played a great part in defeating the Night King, but they don’t see it as their right to ask the other kingdoms to kneel, they simply don’t want it. They only wanted to be independent after all they sacrificed for the entire population of Westeros. So if the unnamed Prince of Dorne or Yara ask to be independent, it is only reasonable for Bran to tell them to sit the fuck down, because ~*~ it’s not the same thing ~*~
Now our watch is over...
Well I think it ended the best way it could really. (Probably an unpopular opinion again.) It ended on a very peaceful note which I liked. I feel relieved, I’m kinda glad it’s over. I hope to never get into something as intensely as this, it’s not good for my anxiety.
Thank you for watching and good night/morning/afternoon/whatever.
They really turned the abused girl who freed slaves and killed oppressors into a Hitler figure, every character of color into her savage henchmen, and every white man into a savior. They really made it so balance was restored in the realm only after a white man sat on the throne again. They really had Brienne glorifying Jaime (a rapist) after he used her and tossed her aside. This whole season was just one long alt-right wet dream and I am so sorry these wonderful actors had to endure the piles of trash D&D call scripts. I'm honestly disgusted. Horrified. And yet.... not shocked.
