I’m hearing some freakout going on in Twitter over this.

Yes, Nika betrayed Damian. She betrayed him BEFORE she herself called him her boyfriend. SHE’S the reason Damian got possessed in Batman Vs Robin. That’s neither here or there. Here is my point.

I love DamiNika so much, because Damian knows who Flatline is and loves her regardless. Flatline literally ripped Damian’s heart, then gave said heart to Lord Death Man before betraying him. Flatline has betrayed her family, friends, Lord Death Man and Damian.

As such, I refuse to believe Damian was ever personally hurt by Flatline’s betrayal. He KNEW what he signed up for and loves Nika for who and what she is. Damian knows what it’s like to be a terrible person only looking for love and acceptance, but never finding it. Damian choosing to love Flatline as she is is why she loves him too and doesn’t mind betraying him again. In the end, Flatline knows that her betrayal won’t change their relationship or feelings for each other.
