bathtub sex with orion <3 cw: smut, bathtub sex, rough sex
orion has always been such a sensual lover. should you be surprised when your invitation to bathe resulted in cold kisses lathered down your neck and shoulders instead of soap? his hands washed along your sides like cool, loving streams and he worshipped you much like any angel does the essence of life itself.
long fingers had crooked into your innermost self. his thumb circled your clit and he brought you to pleasures he always has. the heat of the water only amplified it. made your body melt into his further.
by the time his cock was slowly dragging along your walls - you had came twice.
still, you remained in his lap. with slow thrusts that plapped against your ass as strong hands eased your waist down in a slow rocking motion. the water laps at thighs like waves on a shore. his lips cascaded down your neck like the tender kiss of the moon upon a still ocean.
“you feel so good. . . aein, my darling love,”
his deep croon would soon turn into a groan. as tender as your angel lover was, the darkness always took over.
which is how you wounded up beneath him. water splashing over the rim of the tub and hitting the tiles like rapids smacking rocks. just as his hips ruthlessly smacked into yours. his wet wings spread out. strong arms encasing you close as he endlessly grinds and thumps against you.
“y-you will be the ruin of this angel,” his breath stutters. adam’s apple bobbing as he buries his face into your chest and groans out. his cock never fails to pull climax after climax out of you.
he knows that he is making a mess of you. he knows your cum and his has long since filled the water. he’ll simply run another bath. there is no way he’s stopping any time soon. what with your wet, silky skin against his. your whining moans. the way you cling and grip onto his back - his wings -
your desperate noises drown out the feral splashes of water. good luck getting him off of you any time soon.
Ok, so since pokemon (the latest mainline games, and legends ZA – what a shit show) I went back to the games that were good (leafgreen, emerald) and PMD 2. I’m currently working my way through PMD DX for the switch. I wanted to play it myself but I don’t have a DS or cartridge anymore and the emulator I have keeps crashing so it makes it hard to get through the game, so I’ve just been watching the cutscenes on youtube. I also found a lot of good fanart and a few really, really good fics and the part of my brain that fixated on the game has been reactivated like a sleeper agent with a vengeance.
I don’t know if it’s because that the game is so old now, or because there’s so few fans for it around, or if it was just never popular because it was a spin off game series, but there’s so much room to make theories and headcanons and if I don’t yap about it I’m going to fucking explode.
More under the cut cuz this might get long and I don’t want to clog anyone’s dash. Also please keep in mind that I'm posting this in early hours of the morning. Ideas and headcanon and then somehow it transitions into fic. This is not very organized word vomit. But take it because it's been rattling around in my head for days.
I think one of the most fun things about the game – and my least favorite things about the game itself – is that we don’t get much backstory about Hero and Grovyle. I think there could have absolutely been a fantastic special episode that went into their backstory and how they were in the future, especially with how good the first arc and special episodes were. (Not that there aren’t problems, and I personally found the post game to be chock full of plot holes, but hey those are places where the fans are free to write and draw comics so it’s not the worst thing ever.) But it does leave the audience open to creation about what Hero and Grovyle’s dynamic could have been like, what their lives would have been like, etc.
And naturally, that makes me wonder with how Dusknoir was so fixated and to an extent obsessed with Grovyle, what things would have been like with Hero also present and along with Grovyle. Would Dusknoir have been as obsessive when dealing with the two of them? Would he have been easier or harder to deal with? What would that have been like?
My opinion is that he was as maniacal and fanatical in the dark future as he is during the game, but it feels less intense to Hero and Grovyle as they would have had each other. Then, after Hero was transformed and amnesiac, Dusknoir only has a single target to focus on so to Grovyle, it feels more intense, more personal, etc. Literally half of the team that he was after is now gone. I think this is also why Dusknoir doesn’t focus too much on the Hero themselves. (Especially since we see how manipulative, theatrical and sadistic he can be, the Hero isn’t fun to play or mess with anymore. They are now immune to the bullshit that he uses on Grovyle courtesy of not remembering anything.) But given the fact that it’s how Dusknoir is, I don’t think his manner of dealing with both of them would be different, he’d just have two targets instead of one.
And I feel like that’s part of the crux of the issue when it comes to Dusknoir. When it comes to just the fandom’s general focus on the toxicity of his relationship towards Grovyle, I think a lot of people tend to write it off as just Dusknoir being a naturally manipulative and devious villain (at least until special episode five) and view him as being fixated on Grovyle because of his own desire for self preservation. But I don’t think that’s the complete explanation.
I think Dusknoir is a very lonely person/pokemon and there’s a lot of material in the game that demonstrates that extremely well. When he first appears, he’s meteoric in his reputation. Now, suddenly, everyone knows of him. What stands out here is that he’s known for SOLO explorations, implying both power and experience. As soon as he’s mentioned, he is placed on a pedestal above every other team. Obviously, this is part of his ruse to gain access to information and resources wherever he goes, to get people to trust him by means of reputation and capability. But due to his status and said pedestal, he’s also distanced himself from the guild and other characters, no matter how courteous and polite he appears.
In the future we continue to see this pattern. He has underlings and a superior, no equals, no friends and no one that would understand him. He has no support network of any kind. Looking at the second main antagonist Darkrai, even he doesn’t want to be alone. We see this in the way that he tries to get Hero to join him. And Dusknoir? Despite how isolated as a character he is, he thrives on attention, respect born from fear from others (mostly Sableye but Spiritomb and Porygon are worth mentioning too) around him, and the respect of the people of treasure town. He’s a very social character and constantly deprives himself of meaningful and fulfilling relationships. The one he has with Grovyle is the closest one he has to having an equal. I see that also being the case when it comes to Hero as well when they were in the future.
I feel the core cause of his behavior is one born of fear, jealousy, and envy, and not least of all insecurity. Let me explain.
It’s established in the game that pokemon, as a species, are very different than their past counterparts. Pokemon live in fear, are territorial, and have a shoot first ask questions later/never attitudes. Spiritomb is said to be normally timid, but lashes out because of a perceived invasion. The snorunts are aggressive to Grovyle who doesn’t do anything more than ask questions. The battle with the ice pokemon is presumably also due to the same kind of territorial dispute. We see two porygon who teleport Grovyle and Dusknoir, but they clearly do not want to do it.
Due to the limited scope of what we get to see in the future, we don’t know that there aren’t some pokemon who aren’t close and good friends and given the fact that the only people who act in a manner we would view as more close to normal are Hero, Grovyle and Celebi, it seems to not be the norm.
So, this leaves us with Dusknoir, a bit unusual but powerful in his position in the world, but one that’s very isolated and detached. He’s secure in terms of his position, he’s confident in his own strength and he isn’t without total reason to have the ego he does. It should be noted that he is his own worst enemy when it comes to his plans, though his stratagem and ideas for them are solid.
Getting Treasure Town to trust him? Easily worked in his favor. Execution? Would have worked except Grovyle matches Dusknoir’s plans with his own skills to improvise. Break the spirit of Grovyle so he gives up? Not a bad idea since if you’re Dusknoir. Ambush the heroes where you know they’ll show up in the past? Good plan, you aren’t wasting energy or time looking for them. His plans in special episode 5? They’re smart. Celebi, who has been able to evade Dialga all this time? Dusknoir is finally successful in his endeavor to capture her, and his plan to have the Sableye track the heroes earlier in the story to find her very much paid off. Use Grovyle’s body to get close to Hero and Partner to disarm them so they are easier to kill? It’s technically a smart move. Dusknoir just wasn’t counting on the fact that he would get to know Grovyle and instead of view him with contempt for his actions, he comes to an understanding and perhaps realizing he has some level of fondness for Grovyle.
And I do think there is a begrudging level of fondness. He and Grovyle know each other, but Grovyle’s unpredictable nature and ability to come up with ideas and plans on the fly based on his readof a situation is certainly worthy of respect. Dusknoir doesn’t disrespect Grovyle, but he does hold him in contempt. Now to connect my two points, the first that Dusknoir is lonely and fixated (again, my headcanon that he was Like That to both Hero and Grovyle until Hero forgets themselves) and that he is jealous, here is the meat and potatoes of why I think that.
Imagine for a moment, that you’re Dusknoir. You want to survive in the world, but it costs you having any relationships, you have to answer to a mad God, and you can’t afford to get close to anyone in case you did find someone because your loyalty to your boss comes first. You have underlings, but you can’t be too kind to them in case they get ideas or expect leniency. You count on them to follow orders, they perform executions for you so you don’t have to get your own hands dirty.
You are the gripper pokemon, one who is supposed to harbor the souls of the dead to the next world, and yet you don’t kill with your own two hands. The blood spilled is your guilt made liquid and real, but it’s necessary for your own survival. Even if this world isn’t a good one, surely you will be able to find meaning and some semblance of either contentedness or maybe even happiness. The planet is frozen yet still, time moves on. The longer you hold your current position, the longer you start to believe and accept and come to terms with the idea that maybe not, maybe there’s just survival and only survival.
And you can’t hope for better if you’re dead.
And after years of blood and paranoia, acting as judge and executioner...you hear of something unusual.
There’s a human. Extremely rare and unheard of. A pokemon – Grovyle - travels with them. They aren’t equals, but partners all the same. They are searching for something, what exactly you aren’t sure. But you know the type of people who go looking for things as intensely as they are mean nothing good for you. You take your underlings and send them to go search for more information. They are slowly but surely finding out how time folded in on itself and was destroyed. They have found out about the time gears. And while you know of Celebi as a rumor, as a myth, you are someone who knows better than anyone just how real she could be. You cannot allow this to continue, though this threat is still in it’s infancy, you can see how quickly it would grow to become one.
And so you pursue them relentlessly.
You finally encounter them.
And seeing their relationship, up close and personal? You realize that these two have what you want, what you have been looking for. They aren’t alone in this world. The reports from the Sableye paint a picture of a deep emotional connection, able to cover for each others weakness to bring forward strengths that together they may not have had. The Sabeley say they are incredibly fond of each other, tending to the others wounds, listening to the other even if they disagree.
It is EVERYTHING you want. Everything you could hope for.
And they – STILL! STILL! – want to destroy the world that you all live in.
Your hope that maybe you wouldn’t always be alone, maybe you’d find someone to find meaning in despite the state of the world...fades.
Even they can’t find meaning in this world.
What hope do YOU have?
Their partnership means they will be more difficult to deal with than solo targets, but you’ve been undefeatable for this long. So long.
And then...they beat you. Evade your soldiers. They keep finding the locations of time gears and keep gaining ground and it feels like there’s nothing you can do to stop it.
You meet them, encounter them more than once and when you pry and push for an answer to understand their motivations...they say it’s to create a better future. One that they are obviously willing to do anything to achieve even if they aren’t around to see it.
What hope do you have?
You try manipulation, you try isolating them, forcing them to split up and yet they have an unshakeable faith in the other to do what needs to be done. They are quickly achieving that which should be impossible. They find out about Celebi and start to search for what you hope is just a myth now long dead.
They do it. They find her. They travel back in time.
What hope do you have?
The Hero loses their memory. It’s a gift horse in the mouth type of situation. The town sides with you, doesn’t even ask basic questions to make sure you’re lying. You capture Grovyle, and the Hero, and the Hero’s new partner as an extra measure. They escape again. You pursue them, the push and pull of this dance now a familiar one. You corner them, you have Grovyle on his metaphorical knees admitting surrender. Except the Hero’s new partner steps up while Grovyle is lost in his misery and finally silent, while the Hero contemplates the gravity of who they were, and they escape. You lose. Again.
You ambush them. Reveal to the Hero what will happen if they succeed. They don’t say anything.
You can see their past self echoing, a look of acceptance in their eyes. Grovyle overpowers you and takes you back to the future. You make another plan.
This one is more prolonged. This plan is intimate. This plan is cruel. This plan is ruthless. This plan is to exploit Grovyle of his loss and pain and grief. You don’t just want to win. You want to grind him into the dirt to the point he doesn’t exist. You don’t want to give him the complete relief of death, either. You are full of fear and jealousy so much so that you can feel it in your throat trying to choke you as you continue to march forward and your most sadistic plan starts to fall into place. Right at the end, where you know you could do it, you can take his body and kill that damned Hero with it, and wouldn’t it be such a poetic end? To it all?
But you don’t.
There’s no other way.
What hope do you have?
In the crackling high pitched whine of electricity, he says he trusts you. With his soul partly in his body and partly in your realm, you can feel the truth of trust in you.
It makes you want to retch. But as well as you know yourself, you know he means it. Despite the plan that you made – despite the fact that he’s thwarted you at every turn – he’s the one pulling the rug out from under you?
What hope do you have?
His.
You have his hope. You have his trust. He speaks true to his own heart of the wish for you to feel the same as he does.
You know the odds don’t change if you side with him now. Dialga is so much stronger than you, and he will not hesitate to cut you down should you change sides.
You know that for a fact. You’ve seen it first hand with others. You’ve done it for him before, after all.
And yet.
You feel it.
Hope. Trust. The faith he has of the goodness in you.
You let go of all logic, every instinct that you have honed over time that protects you in this world of darkness and death.
What do you have at this point other than hope?
You risk it.
You save him.
The pain from Dialga’s strikes hurt, but less than you thought it would.
Grovyle looks at you with happiness. With pride.
With hope.
You defeat Dialga. You get to go out with a pride and acceptance that you didn’t know you were capable of. The light of the aurora is a beautiful last sight.
Grovyle assures you that your life mattered, had meaning, shined.
You disappear.
….
...And against all odds, you come back. You shouldn’t be here. You don’t deserve to be here.
Yet, as Grovyle and Celebi wake up, and look to you without fear or apprehension or disgust.
What hope do you have?
It belongs to them. They gave it to you, had faith you would figure it out. And now it is yours.
You have your own hope.
You never dreamed it would happen. You have a new level of conviction. This new world will be your atonement for the things you’ve done and the evil you’ve wrought and the blood of those who won’t get to enjoy this new world still stains your hands. You are far from deserving it, but second chances don’t come often. This new world will need everything helping hand you can give it.
He was preceded by the harsh clink-clack sound of metal on stone, each sound a punctuation. Only one cultist turned to face him as he entered the room and while he started to laugh none laughed long at Arazek the Blind.
The second of my kobolds! I'm trying to work on the stories, so bear with me, but I really enjoyed doing the more muted grey tone build up. Should have something else for you this week, so keep an eye out! Lemme know what you think of this one in the notes!
Just because your female hero has a temper and can insult and smash any opposition against her DOES NOT make her a true, strong female character.
Just a reminder: Might does not automatically make right.
To close off with a quote from Peter Cullen (in his humble honesty, who is quoting his late older brother Larry, a Vietnam War Veteran), "If you're gonna be a hero. Be a real hero. Don't be a Hollywood Hero type, with all the BS, and all the yelling and screaming and trying to be tough. Be strong enough to be gentle."
(And you know what? This isn't just applicable to female heroes, but also for male heroes as well.)
