Babysitting Howdo and Youdo

★ It was unexpected. You didn't even have time to prepare. With no notice -just a knock at the door. Not even a phone call ahead of time! Which, if you're being honest, was quite ill-mannered of Howdy.

★ "Bribe 'em, distract 'em, wrestle 'em if you have to. Just keep 'em here overnight." Was all the instructions he gave. Offering no further advice except for a quick thumbs up and cheerful "Good luck!" Leaving you no room to protest.

★ As the pair looked you over, you got the feeling that it was going to be a long night. For whatever reason, the fruit bowl caught their attention first. Youdo tilted his head and asked, "Can you juggle?"

★ You said no. He was disappointed. "What can you do?" Finding yourself being interrogated by two five-year-olds. “Can you do taxes?” You say yes. They boo like you've committed a crime. “That’s boring!”

★ In your living room, Howdo insisted on moving the couch. Giving him room to play. Turning it into a “business office” just like uncle Howdy's. Complete with you as the customer. Or maybe the intern Wait... Was he playing shopkeeper or CEO? Ah, well, he probably didn't know the difference.

★ Meanwhile Youdo started painting on the walls while your back was turned. Thank goodness it was washable. You're not sure how he got the paint, it was on a high shelf. But there wasn't any time to dwell on it.

★ They asked for “Executive beverages.” You offer juice boxes. Apparently, that wasn't fancy enough. So you poured them into wine glasses. Complete with paper straws. This, they decided, was acceptable.

★ Making dinner was tricky. You were out of dino nuggets. And couldn't get more for obvious reasons. So you settled for two bowls of cereal. Thankfully, the two seemed fine with it! Enjoying the sugar filled meal.

★ Yes, you let them stay up past bedtime. They built a pillow fort out of the couch (now moved to the opposite side of the room) and whatever blankets you had. Including the ones from your bed. When it was finally time to sleep, you joined them in said pillow fort. As a bed with no blankets is far from cozy.

★ You don't wake up to your alarm clock. But to the sound of your front door opening. Followed by quiet giggles. The kind that make you suspicious of what mischief is underway. Howdo whispered “Shhh, they’re still sleep...”

○o。.Pillar Headcannons Pt.2!!.。o○

I've written over 38 new headcannons for howdys family, but I'm not feeling like posting them all in one day, so this for the meantime (ToT).

The twins are currently enrolled in Boy Scouts (sponsored by Howdys Place)

When the two were young, Latter flew off his bike after howdy convinced him to try his new "parkour" (he needed stitches after the fall 💔).

Howdy and Latter would drive Seeya around in a little red wagon when she wasn't able to walk or sit up properly (more baby to toddler years, maybe).

Howdy was also a boy scout but was WAY more dedicated to his troop than the twins are

Skeddadle pranked Uncle Aideu when he was younger, which led to Adieu slipping and falling down the stairs one morning

Howdy once got in trouble for selling HW answers and testing answers to other kids (no one knows how he got the answers still to this day)

Seeya was once temporarily banned from listening to the Beatles because she kept the volume on WAY to high

Hiya has a habit of covering her mouth whenever she laughs or smiles

Latter has a hobby of oil painting and has a few of his paintings hung around his apartment

Seeya designed her shared home with Beeya and he fully furnished it

Howdy and his siblings would spend their summers at Gam Gam's every year until they grew older

Gam Gam has those plastic coverings on all her furniture (she"ll never remove it)

Seeya once got caught sneaking in Beeya and was on punishment for the rest of the school year 😭

The twins got in trouble once for trying to recreate the scene from king Kong (1933, yk what I'm talking about) and ended up breaking a vase and their toy set. Their also banned from watching TV unsupervised anymore

Sorry if these kinda suck I'm still in school atm and I'm so exhausted I can't think properly 💔. I'll try to post more soon over the weekend.

Specific parts of the Welcome Home Homewarming video that live in my brain rent free

-the way Wally struggles to say the Crispy Sweets tagline along with Barbnaby and Howdy and goes "wow"

- the way Eddie casually pours gravy on the tree upsets me so hilariously, every time I think "DISGUSTING!!!! ABSOLUTELY RANCID!!!!!!!! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT EW EW EDDIE NOOOOOOOOO WTF"

- "I'm looking forward to delivering the gifts my friends all gotten for each other." Mmm foreshadowing

-the way Barnaby says "muddah" (Mother)

-the way Barnaby says "ah woo" when he howls

-the sound that Howdo and Youdo's feet make when they skitter across the floor. It sounds like fingers rapping on the table or something I don't know why it cracks me up

-"Give that fella an apple every day and he'll be as happy as a clam."

- "on the fifth deal of Homewarming Howdy offered me- ONE SINGLE PEEEEEA"

-Howdo and Youdo bullying Barnaby in the store

-the little pause before Eddie bangs his fists on the table and loses his temper

-"not a call, a visit, a PEEP." Idk why the way he says peep makes me think of the marshmallow peeps

-"Whoever heard of folks getting recognition for nothing? No one. That's who."

- "not to mention it goes down," *slows down suddenly, "SMOOOOOOO."

- the entire "We Three Queens" segment, I've sung it to myself so many times

-the crashing noises in a Barley Silent Night

- "It's called BARELY silent night YOU PHILISTINE!"

- "OH HANG YOUR BOWTIES"

*dramatic gasp* YOU TAKE THAT BACK
