A new fanfic, it's been awhile since I wrote one. I miss this.
Sorry, I have a crush
Chaotique never have a crush before, not that she wants it.
She never have any thoughts of being with someone or in a relationship before, she always thought to go solo.
Then she notice him, she never see him before but now he's stuck in her head.
She just talk to him once then she wants to know him more, prank him here and there but he never hate her but definitely annoyed. Then she challenged him to a dance, they were in beat to it as he keep up with her, she keep teasing and play with him, he knew her secrets while she knew nothing much about him, she made him swore to never spill her secrets, before she know it, the moment he was gone, she keep thinking about him, worry about her own secrets, worry about him being a loud mouth, but he wasn't and didn't told anyone. He gain her trust and interest, she never thought anyone else would, anyone other than her family.
She keep meeting him, befriend him, laugh with him not at him, they know each other lives from then on and she thought it was friendship, it was more than that.
"I mean, he is so innocent, goody two shoe with sparks to help both robots and human, I thought he would be lame. He is so much more." Chaotique explain with sparkling eyes
"Uh huh" Airman respond without any interest at all.
"He also really funny with puns and knows my kind of fun but when we prank together, he come up with ideas to make my pranks harmless but fun still for me. Every time I hangout with him, he always the one who offers to pay, everytime. Makes me feel bad but then again he's Dr. Light kid so probably he got enough pocket money to pay for boba tea, right ? I mean it's really sweet of him to do so even when I decided I wanna pay it myself, but guess what ?" Chaotique ask Airman as she swiftly turn her head to him.
"What ?" Airman said, mindlessly
"He bought me a video game that I've always wanted, not a second handed console, the new and latest version"
"So he's rich, so what, you like him because of that ?" Airman giving a sarcastic reply.
"No of course not, being rich is nothing when money can lost and burn, he is rich but he still do chores and do odd jobs, he paid an expensive 4 million game console from his own hard earned money. Getting money is hard y'know" Chaotique trying to explain to an disinterested Airman.
"What do you know about honest work, last time I checked, you pickpocket and do dirty works to get by, let's not forget how we meet" Airman retort.
"So sorry about your wallet but it slipped from my hand."
"Straight to a wood chipper machine"
"How was I supposed to know the thing wasn't broken when the warning sign was there" Chaotique trying to justify
"The thing was broken from the start, the machine never stopped working. It just stopped when it run out of power." Airman huffing with contempt explained.
"We're getting off topic" Chaotique backing up
"We started the conversation with how did you know Blastowoman then suddenly you talked about your crush after just saying 'me and Blasto met on the black market' the hell you were doing there ?! Don't forget what you costed me missy"
"Your wallet ?"
"And my dignity, your 'pranks' make me a meme on viewbook, texgram, and newtube." Airman reminded Chaotique of a certain prank she did on him when they first met, he did said he wanted to be famous so she did him a favor, sorta.
"You wanted to be famous" Chaotique answered back.
"NOT AS A MEME" Airman yelled.
Chaotique stay quiet for a bit before she decides to go out.
Airman feeling a little sorry for the hopeless romantic speedster gremlin decided to advise her, he isn't wise or good but she is clearly younger than him.
"If you want to talk about the Lights, go to Cutman, he was their favorite gardener. He is in the garden, outside, shouldn't be hard to find." Airman face away from Chaotique to do his business again.
Chaotique look back to Airman watching him fly away to somewhere she guessed, "Thanks a lot Air." Answering to the wind then using her speed she skates to the garden Airman hinted at.

"When you said you want answers about the Lights, I assumed you wanted to destroy them, not canoodle with the dullest Light in the family" Cutman commented.
"Don't call Aki dull, he is smart in his own way, sure he's bad at math or science or physics but he's great on sport and knows how to talk" Chaotique trying to defend Aki's honor that even Aki himself doesn't know about.
"Sure sure, just say that you like him for being funny" Cutman jeered.
"Yeah but he's more than just funny"
"Let me guess, kind, compassionate, loving, sweet, and very understanding." Cutman fake gushing to mock her.
"Yeah and he is.... he's also.... um.. very cool." Chaotique was sure he is cool, it's subjective matter but he is cool with other things.
Cutman stare at her for a moment, it takes a second for him to laugh the next moment.
Chaotique only stare at Cutman waiting for the red short robot to stop but he start rolling on the ground prompting Chaotique to pull his arms up to lift him.
With the last wheezing breath, Cutman finally talks back. "You really likes him, no, LOVE him a lot" Cutman brush off the dust on himself then continue "this is the first time someone likes Aki Light. Truly a miracle someone find him to be attractive."
"Okay can you cut it out, literally" Chaotique puff her chest and crossing her hand as she glare at Cutman for that insult.
Cutman put his hands on his stomach "Okay okay, look Aki is the least interesting member of the Light family. His father ,Dr. Light, is a robotic scientist genius and his sister, Suna, is a genius in the making, I saw her with many of her projects. But Aki other that the average boy in a family of geniuses, he's... underperformed, he isn't notable, sure he is a robot but being a robot isn't that special, but he is very nimble for a robot."
Chaotique thought back to Aki's parkour, he is faster than her on platforming. Chaotique never been beaten on her own speed games so he became a challenge pretty quickly. Probably because she has wheels for heels, she can't beat Aki on parkour. It was his special skill and she glad Aki figure out his talent on platforming because of her. Not only parkour, climbing brick walls or jagged dead ends is also a skill Aki has but Chaotique doesn't, she always rely on her speed to bypass dead ends. Her speed does break the law of gravity with the law of physics.
"Aki only notable trait for me is his empathy or the way he can make a friend of anyone but most never last long, I was proof of it." Cutman informed.
"WAIT, what ?! You liked him"
"I didn't like him at all, but I cared enough for his well being that is until my brain focuses on perfection that I begin to lose my sympathy for him, I never intended to kill him, maybe just capture him or scare him but never harm him, maybe I would've scratch his face and leave a cut or two...
But I doubt that, back then with Sgt.Night, I was desperate for some form of validation that I never stop to think that...... if killing him was worth it." Cutman solemnly remembered back. If Aki was at school and he manage to capture him, Cutman doubt that Sgt.Night only will beaten him up or just a ransom for Dr. Light. Looking back, he could've been responsible for a death.
Chaotique taken a back by Cutman ranting, she was ready to fight him but she knows he was just taking about what-if or what could've happened. Sgt.Night is a merciless man, a human with cold stone heart, taking a child life is something of a means to an end in his grant scheme.
"Anyway if you want to show your appreciation to Aki, give him something you made yourself for him, a homemade cook, or friendship bracelet or whatever you made, you have to meant it, put effort in it. Then in the gift he'll know that you care for him." Cutman advise
Chaotique back away from Cutman then smiles "That's really helpful, thanks Cutman"
"You're welcome" Cutman hand a flower bouquet to Chaotique as she remotely take the bouquet.
"Would you kindly gives this to Hypnowoman ? Here's her address" Cutman mentioned as he hand her a piece of paper with an address.
"Since you want advise, the best love advice is from a therapist in love with the father of your lover" Cutman mocked. He giggle a bit as he walk away to rest after gardening for the day. Leaving Chaotique dumbfounded.

"Thank you for the flowers dear" hypnowoman sniff the fresh bouquet. "Its so lovely" she cheered.
"Yeah, I wanna go to do something first" Chaotique reply.
"Oh, is there a problem you need to solve" Hypnowoman question.
"No just...." Chaotique timidly have to ask "if you have a date with someone who hated you in the past, what kind of date should I do to make him like me ?"
"Oh well, a dinner date is nice, perhaps a movie night or just walking under the stars-"
"You're still so young I can't imagine you and Aki going to third base" hypnowoman playfully answer.
"Huh ?! No not like that, I meant I wanna talk to him about my feelings and sort things out." Chaotique bashful explained.
"Oh, there's a prank with beautiful mood lighting, I'm sure you can tell him how you feel there." Hypnowoman recommend again without interruptions.
"Thanks" Chaotique happily tell.
"But another thing. Relationship is complex and hard, it might be rocking at the start but I'm sure if you communicate with him and respect each other boundaries, you both will have a healthy relationship." Hypnowoman calmly and gladly teach Chaotique.
Chaotique only smile and it saids it all.
"Ah you don't really understand, do you ?"
"Not much" Chaotique jokingly reply.
"Thanks Ms. Hypno, thanks a lot" Chaotique disappear in a flash.
Hypnowoman goes back inside to tend her bouquet. She know what a troubled robot girl Chaotique is, but if she's willing to change, then she can be a good person. She understands why Aki always talks about Chaotique in his therapy sessions, he sees a good person deep down, she can see it too.
